We present to you the Podtacular Code of Honor, a set of guidelines for all members of all Podtacular clans. Please read these carefully and follow them so we can keep Podtacular a safe and enjoyable place. Our clan leaders and staff will not tolerate those who abuse this code, so it's up to you to accept responsibility for your attitude and behavior to remain a member. If you go outside the simple boundaries set by the Code of Honor, you could put your clan membership at risk and may be removed from the roster.
1. Command
As a Podtacular clan member, you agree to acknowledge all requests and orders from your clan Staff, Leaders and Overlord. If you feel that a request is unreasonable or uncalled for, and you cannot come to an agreement with clan leadership, you and your Overlord have the option to bring the matter to our Community Manager. This is the basic chain of command and should be followed whenever dealing with members and or activities within the clan.
2. Honesty
You are not allowed to participate in any sort of modding, standbying, bridging and any other form of exploit or abuse of the game or console or Xbox Live service to affect the results of a match. Podtacular is very strict on the matter of cheating, so we recommend you don't hang around with anyone that could associate you with cheating.
Read "What does Podtacular consider cheating?"
3. Respect
The Podtacular community and clan does not welcome and will not be associated with those who use insults, fighting or harassment of any kind. We see it as our duty as gamers to keep Xbox Live a place where all gamers can enjoy themselves, and therefore, trash talking is not allowed. This also includes excessive swearing and/or harsh language and racism/hate speech.
4. Participation
As a clan member, you're not only expected to take part in the fun of playing Halo with other members, but you're also expected to contribute to discussion on this site. We want to see people socialize and be a part of our community in every way, and so we'd recommend staying active in our forums, blogs, comments, etc. at least a few times every 30 days. But remember, spamming is not allowed, so make sure ALL your posts contribute!
Follow these simple guidelines and you'll have no problem being a part of our clans. These distinct elements to our clan structure may change with time, but this is what you should base your behavior and look to for guidance as a part of the Podtacular community.
Also, please remember that you are also subject to the Podtacular.com Terms of Service. All members are expected to follow these guidelines while on this site, as well as those listed above.
