Ratatouille is a game based on the movie by Pixar. Its about a rat named Remy who wants to become a great chef. It takes place in Paris, France. If you want the full story then watch the movie which is currently in theaters.

The graphics were nice and felt just like the real Pixar movie but the lighting could have used some more work. It is very cartoonish and aimed at kids making it great for all ages. The overall presentation and the look of the game really ties in with the movie. The voice acting sounds good and all the jump-pads stand out great. The game is fairly simple and for a movie platformer it really is nice. It was fun hitting things with my tail and even knocking them off. One really fun part is the pest control which is very simple, easy to get into and also very addictive.
There is no map in the game making it very hard to find things and where to go. The music gets really annoying after a while and the gameplay feels a bit repetitive. The camera controls could be a bit better also. The enemies in this game never die (such as the grabs), and if someone sees you then you only have about 10 seconds to return to your game which is hard. The game play felt a bit like Splinter Cell but on a very simple and childish scale. The pest control game is so easy that even my mom could beat it. The demo was fairly short because you only play one level. There were some collision problems and sometimes i even got stuck in certain places. The animation of the characters also could have been improved.

Not bad for a movie game, but there are still better platformers out there. The Ratatouille game does a good job showing the story but I didn't like the fact that you either have to hide or run most of the time.
