So, finally, I've beaten Green Grass and High Tides on Expert, which means that I've gotten the Lord of the Strings achievement. Finally. That song was giving me hell, but I finally got through those OBYOBY sweeps o' doom and beat it. Four stars, 211K. Good freakin' enough, even though I could probably get loads more points out of that song.

Got my first Expert FC in Rock Band, second overall, today. Well, more accurately, it was yesterday. I was playing Band World Tour with one of my friends on Medium bass. I'm playing guitar on Expert. We get to I Think I'm Paranoid by Garbage, and to my surprise, I FCed the song. I decided to go back today and try to re-FC it. Done and dusted on the first try. Caught it on video, no less. So, yay for me.

And as the title alludes to, I've finally gotten the chance to play Call of Duty 4. I rented it through Gamefly. Damn, this game is amazing. I still prefer Halo 3, but something about the game is just so addictive. If you want to play a game at all, just let me know. GT is StormPhoenix2.

If the title is confusing you, let me explain.

I'm currently stuck in GH3 and Rock Band. More so in GH3.

- I've still got Lou to beat on Hard, even though I have a trick to beat him.
- I can't pass "One" on Expert yet.
- I can't pass "Green Grass and High Tides" on Expert in Rock Band yet - and that's the only song left!

However, other than that, I did get my first Expert FC. For the uninformed, FC stands for "Full Combo". It entails hitting every note and chord in the song without breaking the score multiplier once. If it sounds hard, it's because it is. But I got my first one yesterday - "Closer" by Lacuna Coil. Bulls On Parade is next!

I've beaten the three initial campaigns in Undertow, as well. I've really grown to like that game, I think it's really fun. With the new "Path of the Elect" DLC out, I've got even more reason to play it. Looking forward to more Undertow madness.

Also played and beat Assault Heroes in two playthroughs. The game's good, but it can get challenging at the last zone. I'd like to try it in Co-Op sometime.

Yeah, I'm blogging here now. Guess I really have nothing better to do.

Sent something in for what is now apparently going to be this weekend's show. I sent my tips in for the initial recording last week, but since that didn't go down as planned, you'll have to wait until this upcoming Sunday to hear my tips. I think people who are struggling with their dominance of Construct may find some usefulness from my tips.

I'm currently trying to beat Rock Band's Guitar Solo Tour on Expert. I've got Flirtin' With Disaster, Train Kept A Rollin', and Green Grass and High Tides remaining. Once those three songs are out of the way, I'll have the Lord of the Strings achievement. I also need to beat Lou on Guitar Hero 3's Hard career so I can get that achievement, as well.

Yeah, that's about it. I'll follow up with a blog updating on the RB/GH3 stuff. Oh, yeah, and Bullet for My Valentine's "Scream Aim Fire" album is amazing. If you like metal, give it a listen - it's not like BFMV's initial stuff, but it's still undeniably kick-ass music. Later.
