Back in the day we realized we would need a forum for our fledgeling podcast. Since we didn’t have the spiffy site you see here, we needed a quick fix. So we set up shop as a Bungie.net group. A guy named *Ju Blaine* approached me saying we should probably have a moderator on the forum. He volunteered to do it because of experience moderating in the past.

Fast forward to today and it’s been over a year since Ju Blaine began his journey as a forum moderator. We’ve come a long way from those humble beginnings and he stuck with us the whole way, helping to make our forums a fun and safe place to hang out. Recently Ju Blaine ran into some life issues that prevent him from being a “mod” at Podtacular.com any more, so he had to step down.

While we do still have plenty of hard-working moderators, we’ll miss Ju a whole bunch. So once again we fire off the solemn 21 BR salute to Podtacular’s original moderator. !{float: left; margin: 0 10px 10px 0;}https://podtacular.com/files/images/godtacular.jpg! After a long hiatus and some soul searching, Godtacular is being revived. What is Godtacular? It’s a Bible study done in a Halo 2 lobby. *ChuckieJ* will be hosting it and I’ll be hangin’ there too. What are we going to talk about? This time it’s a discussion-oriented study called “Setting you free to make right choices.” It’s pretty sweet because instead of just listening to someone talk, everyone gets to participate. Do you have to be a Christian to get in? Nah, even if you’re just curious about God, an atheist, another religion, or if you’ve been away from God for a while, you’re welcome to join us if we have room. We won’t judge you.

Back in the day *Freak in a Box* volunteered to edit audio for Podtacular. Eventually he had to resign. So I ran a competition to see who the next volunteer editor would be. *Ciclonic* came out on top and started editing our shows every single week. He’s been doing this for quite a long time for no pay, sometimes at the expense of his personal life.

Life finally caught up with Ciclonic and he recently realized that the increasing demands of school were not leaving room for Podtacular editing any more. We’re sad to see him go, but we’d like to extend a 21 BR salute to the man who made the show happen for probably 30+ episodes. This is one talented and dedicated 16 year old! Thanks for all you’ve done, Ciclonic!

For the foreseeable future I’ll be editing the shows myself and trying to post them on the same night we record, with the exception of episode 100. Don’t worry, I don’t suck that bad, I edited episodes 97, 98, and _99 ( <- fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony)_. Want to meet some people and have some fun? Want to make an impact at Podtacular? We’ve got you covered. Here’s 10 ways to join your fellow Halo fans and accomplish something cool in the process. In no particular order:

1. Make forum signatures and join the Podtacular art community. Learn from some talented digital artists!
2. Create some new gametypes. for Project Gametype. These guys collect the most interesting, crazy Halo gametypes out there. Add to the mix!
3. Write a game review. tell others what you think about the games you like and don’t like. Practice and show off your writing skillz!
4. Play some Rainbow Six Vegas. Join other Podtacular community members in some close quarters SWAT action!
5. Get into a Podtacular Pro clan. Attend a scouting event and see if you have what it takes to join the pros!
6. Tighten your Halo skill at the Podtacular Training Camp! These experts are ready and willing to help you stack up the killing sprees.
7. Read or write some PodFiction. Share your talent for storytelling or just check out other peoples’ work and let them know what you think.
8. Play some MLG games with the Podtacular MLG crew. These guys love MLG and if you do too, they want to play with you!
9. Join an organized team: the Podtacular Marines! This crew aims to have top notch communication and teamwork. Join them and find out what an organized team is capable of!
10. Be a part of episode 100 with these projects aimed at making episode 100 special.
