This week, I had a chance to interview a man who loved by Podtacular Members everywhere. Unfortunately, I’m too lazy to do an interview with that guy just yet, so I present to you a Special Edition of Community HeatLamp where I interview myself, BrentGamer.
How are you doing today Brent?
I’m doing pretty good. How are you doing Brent?
Just fine, thanks. Anyway Mr. Brent, tell us a little bit about yourself
I’m 15 years old, my name is Brent, and I’m an avid gamer. Hence the name BrentGamer. I like to think of myself as a comedian of sorts, providing the Podtacular Community with much needed comic relief. But in reality, I’m just a cuddly kitty that wants to be loved.
What exactly do you DO in the Community, besides being a joker?
I’m really not one to toot my own horn, but I’m in charge of doing the Community HeatLamp interviews for Podtacular. I get to annoy important people in the Podtacular Community until they give me the answers that I crave, and then I relay those answers to the fine members of Podtacular.
Sounds like a tough job. Do you mind taking us through the process of doing a HeatLamp interview?
Alright. First, I put every Podtacular members name on a dartboard and throw a single dart at the board. Where the dart lands determines who gets interviewed that month. Of course, the people in the community who have done alot for us have larger names on the dartboard, increasing their chances of getting picked. Then, I procrastinate for 2 weeks until Foo Mo Jive sends me an email asking me if the interview is ready for that month. At that point, I rush to contact the Podtacular member that I’m interviewing in fear of losing my “job”. The interview is sloppily thrown together and sent to Mr. Jive, where it posted on the front page and enjoyed by thousands.
You been known to submit some interesting material for the Podcast, including your most famous pieces like “HaloHarmony” and “Brentopia”. Where do you come up with this stuff?
As I sit on the toilet, my mind is constantly tossing around ideas for material to send in to Podtacular. After I have relieved myself, I quickly go to the “Submit News & Tips” form and put my ideas into action. My projects like “HaloHarmony.com” take a little more time to finish, because I have to gather up the actors and record them.
Any new projects coming up?
I’m not going to spoil anything, but my most recent project featuring Foo Mo Jive is available for your listening pleasure on Episode 85’s Customs & Call-Ins segment . Lets just say that it involves a very special insurance company…..
Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to join us today, Brent.
The pleasure is all mine.
