Podtacular 354: Bulletin Update
This week, Halo is at PAX, are you? If so, you’ll get some big information regarding the next map pack and title update. If not, there’s some tid bits, 343 has given in this week’s Halo Bulletin. Despite their busy schedule, they released a lot of information regarding their PAX schedule, matchmaking updates and a few items we’ll be seeing in the next title update. There are lots of goodies to sort through and they will go more in depth on the future of Halo multiplayer and the next title update on their panel today. Halo 4 Spartan Ops: Expendable
Spartan Thorne and Dr. Glassman have been traveling through canyons on Requiem making their way to Galileo base after their escape from the Covenant. While they’ve made considerable progress and almost home, they are not alone, pursued by an unknown threat. Back on infinity, the Promethean attack continues as Halsey and Lasky run around Infinity until found by Palmer. The true purpose of the Promethean attack is revealed when Dr Halsey is willingly snatched up by a Knight. Will Thorne and Glassman survive the impending attack? What’s going to happen to Dr. Halsey from the UNSC for her treason and from the Covenant after allowing herself to be captured? Master Chief and Cortana have chased the Didact to Earth where he plans to compose the entire planet. The duo has managed to get inside the Didact ship’s shields before it jumped to slipspace, now trying to find a way into the Composer. Podtacular 353: Storming the Castle
Earlier this week, 343i released their Castle Map Pack Trailer giving us the first glimpse into the last map pack they announced back before the game’s release in November. In this week’s bulletin, more details for the medium-sized, vehicle heavy maps Perdition, Daybreak and Outcast were unveiled with more to come next week from media outlets. We slip into an early discussion about what 343 Industries needs to do to win back the core Halo crowd for the Halo franchise, but it’s a good discussion about multiple aspects about the current franchise standing. Nothing big on the playlist side of things other than more fine tuning, but with the promise of the “X” when you die. This week’s question: if you were the last of your race and about to activate the Halo array to wipe out all life in the galaxy, what would be your last words? Halo 4 Spartan Ops: Invasion
Halsey has been confined after being interrogated by Lasky and Palmer, but it doesn’t stop her as an opportunity through Roland presents itself. Overriding Roland, she learns Master Chief is alive and tries to take matters into her own hands, contacting Jul and preparing to leave Infinity. Roland stops her attempts to undermine Lasky’s operation, but Infinity gets invaded. In response, all Spartan teams are ordered to return to defend Infinity. What will happen to Dr. Halsey from her treachery? Will the Spartans be able to fend off invaders? Find out this week as HaloFanForLife returns once again. Enjoy
