Infinity is back in the sky but remains locked inside Requiem from the gravity well at the entrance of the Forerunner planet. Gypsy company has been deployed to take out particle cannons lining the path to the well making way for Infinity to get a shot at the well. The journey is not a simple one and you unexpectedly run into an ancient Forerunner, who has a purpose for you. Friend of the show GrimBrother One joins us for what is likely the game defining mission in the Halo 4 campaign. Enjoy

Discover Destiny

Bungie has popped the lid on their latest franchise which began earlier this week when a mysterious post on the Bungie forums lead fans to a mysterious subdomain on Bnet: alphalupi.bungie.net. Over the week, fans unlocked secret images based on the concentration of visitors to the site. Everyone’s effort has lead to the revelation of all seven images and their passages contained therein. Bungie has made these images available along with a snippet of audio from the soundtrack and a desktop background (link). Now a week after the events of their alternate reality game, Bungie has released their first ViDoc, Pathways Out of Darkness introducing us to the story of humanity’s downfall after the Golden Age and the Traveler who came to protect humanity. Halo 4 Spartan Ops: Memento Mori

We begin to approach the climax of Spartan Ops: Season 1 as we cover the fifth episode. The UNSC has recovered a Promethean soul, but the secrets that lie within are uncomfortably familiar to everyone on-board Infinity. Dr. Halsey’s ongoing pursuit for knowledge ends up turning against her, Thorne is teleported to Requeim, and it appears that Dr. Glassman may have activated the Librarian AI. What will be the fate of Glassman, Thorne and Halsey? We must wait to find out in the second half of the season. HaloFanForLife once again co-pilots the show in this cliffhanger. Enjoy

After releasing the Didact, you are faced with the UNSC Infinity crash landing on Requiem. You must make your way through the jungle, meet up with other Marines and Spartans along the way, and defend Infinity while repairs are being made, but you must hurry – you’re not the only one heading towards Infinity. Also, you get to drive a Scorpion tank. Helping us run through one of the toughest Halo 4 missions is the mythical man himself, Mythic Tyrant, founder of the mythic community. Enjoy

Bungie’s ARG Campaign Begins

While this isn’t specifically Halo related, we must respect our roots and keep up to date with the happenings of Bungie. Earlier tonight, Bungie started one of their famed ARGs to drop little gems of information about their upcoming IP Destiny. It was first noted by the masses around 1:00 AM, February 12th (UTC) over at http://alphalupi.bungie.net/. People have been bashing heads for the last three hours trying to solve the puzzle for day 0 and the masses have succeeded. The image hidden in the puzzle can be found here, but that’s just for the first of 7 days. Keep an eye out on NeoGAF, Reddit as well as two blogs focused on the effort: Misriah Solutions and thebruce’s tumblings.
