Here is our first episode to kick off the summer session of Podtacular. Since the whole Reach Beta event has passed, we dig into our mailbag and shuffle through all of the old stuff to bring you this episode. We have Painkilla05 on the show with a special announcement as well. Enjoy

Most (if not everyone) has noticed that we have not produced a show in quite some time. This is primarily due to end of college for the hosts and Dust Storm getting a summer job. A few things are going to change for the summer. Since there is not much to talk about until we get more info on Halo: Reach (except that it comes out on September 14th) we will be cutting back on production of the podcast and focus on bringing the site and clans up to date. We will still be doing shows, but only every-other week, unless we have special guests. We do have two special guests coming up this next month. The first is CMNeir from Halo 3 Tricks and later, we will have someone from ForgeHub. Throughout the summer, we will read any and all customs, frags, tales and voicemails for the appropriate show, so send stuff in whenever you feel like it.
We decided to go ahead and do a show for the day just to cover some of our impressions on the Halo: Reach Beta. All the quirks, bugs and issues we found we talked about in this episode. Next week’s show will be the community’s feedback. Enjoy

We always try to let the community try to give back in their own ways, and one of our members Funnyboy is doing just that. He is doing a show centered around the Podtacular Forums and the community members, trying his luck at podcasting and possibly getting the “official” tag to his show. The first show on the Halo: Reach Beta is finally here after many delays. We are joined by AnTi Pro from Arm the Flag for an interesting in-game podcast. We go over some of the things that are new in Reach, focusing on Armor abilities and some of the new gametypes and maps. When we get to the actual podcast format after the Beta is over, we will go into more details on everything. Enjoy.

You’ve been sitting in front of your TV waiting for the announcement that the Reach Beta is available. Guess what, it’s up and rockin’, so boot up your ODST disc and start downloading Reach to get into the fun. While you’re at it, make sure to submit your thoughts about the game so we can discuss them on Wednesday. Take a break every once in a while (go get some fresh air and let your eyes relax a bit) and send us something: call it in even. Let’s blow this Beta out of the water and make the game even better. Remember to please submit any bugs you find.
