Hey all, I know things here at Podtacular have come to a halt. The reason for this is because myself and other members of the team are very busy atm. Myself trying to get a nice portfolio together for university which I start in September. And Freak with work and his marriage etc. With this being said we hope to return the show in September with both a video and an audio show. I will have a lot more time on my hands and will be more dedicated to podtacular. The audio podcast that we will bring back will not rival that of the original, it will be a short gaming related show discussing Video games, New Releases, Halo stuff ofc, consoles, and general updates in the video game market. As I say this will be something like a 30 min episode with a few members of the community each week or two. The video side of things will be mainly halo related, MLG games, Top 10, Walkthroughs etc. But we will be bringing review frenzy to a video format as an additional show.

All i ask of the podtacular community is to stay strong and look forward to hopefully a very enjoyable future here at Podtacular.com

Ep 161 delay

As you may have noticed episode 161 is running behind. I just wanted to take a moment and explain why. Both Cryptoflix and I have been extremely busy these last few weeks. I am getting married in 17 days and just changed jobs, Crypto has been going through finals at collage so he also has not had much free time.
With that said the episode is finished, we are just working out some final details with getting it on Google video.

Season News – We have our Season Champions!!!

All right… I guess we’re finally here. After 2 long weeks and many xbox problems, unexpected family emergencies among other problems the final match of the season was finally played.

Yes we have this year champions and they are the returning Champions SBG Exodus. For two seasons in a row they have come and conquered the Season Tournament and are the champions for this Podtacular Spring Season 2008. Congratulations to Pooblaster and the guys from SBG Exodus for such great achievement. It’s always an honor to have you guys around for some quality competition and fun.

I would like to send a huge thanks to the SBG community for having such great players and for being such good sports. We value your relationship and we hope to have you guys in future tournaments again.

And we cannot forget to mention team Krunchy gets Carried led by Kimo. They have done a great job representing our community and in midst of some struggles due to the xbox problems they played the match and represented the podtacular group one more time. Congratulations Team Krunchy Gets Carried.

Well if you will, please join me in congratulating both teams on this milestone.

I would like to send a special thank you to all of the teams and players that participated and if you’re interested to participate on the next one or have a person in mind be sure to ask them to check out podtacular.com and get involved. Thank you everyone for your involvement and for playing the matches on time.

Thanks to those who help me with this season, Kiaffex, CapnKrunk and of course the podtacular community and other invited communities. This tournament wouldn’t be what it is if it wasn’t for you guys!!!

Season News – Finals Week 6

Podtacular season News Update – Finals Week 7

Well, well, well… It’s finally here – the final week of the Podtacular season. After it’s all said and done we have the two best teams of the tournament right here and ready to face each other on this great fight for the top.

In one of the side we have the returning and defending champions SBG Exodus. They were the champions last season with a different roster but nonetheless SBG returns showing more power on this tournament season.

On this side we have Team Krunchy Gets Carried led by Kimo. They were said to be one of the best teams of the tournament from day one and they have only proved people right by being here at this point of the tournament. Now will they be able to keep the podtacular season championship here at podtacular this time around? We can only wait and see.

Anyway, after introducing these great teams, id like to take a minute and say thank you to everyone who have participated in this tournament this season. I would like to say that I’m thankful for those who came from other communities and/or even from podtacular. I would like to thank you all of you who cooperated and made this tournament a great tournament from the beginning. Thank you all for all the help in various aspects. A Huge special thank you to Krunk for being so prompt and helpful when I needed the most, thank you Kiaffex for the help here and there getting this ball rolling, thank you FMJ and JVB for the opportunities we all have here and thanks everyone for being such great players and supporters. I appreciate you all!
