It’s time to get that old Monopoly game from under the bed and pull your little sister’s Life game from the back of the closet cause you’re gonna need all the cash you can get your hands on. You heard it right! It’s the “Get the Cash” Kane & Lynch: Dead Men Podtacular contest.

Halo 3 Terminals: The Complete Saga

After much time and effort, TheRussianKolob (with the help of Dust Storm) has completed a transcription of every single terminal in Halo 3, including the legendary versions. For those plundering the depths of Halo 3 for answers, these terminals hold quite a few secrets and interesting details about the Forerunner, the Flood and of course, the Halo installations themselves.

Podtacular’s hands-on impression of Kane & Lynch

After coming home to a non-working computer I had to wait till today, Monday, November 12, 2007, to post the Podtacular impressions of Kane & Lynch and also talk about the event we went to.

First of all, we all had an amazing time at Eidos. With representatives from several gaming communities, blogs and other review sites, we all had the opportunity to meet up, talk about video games and check out this Kane & Lynch game that some people have been talking about. The event started with a nice diner on Wednesday night. It was great to get together with the folks from Eidos Jennie, David, and Stanley, to talk about games, our expectations of the game and other video game related topics. It was a great night and a heck of a great time!

Episode 134: Callins and Tales from the Foxhole

Unfortunately, JVB got held up at work this week, but we’ve got a pretty cool show with Rodsmack from XBL 10K Club, MaesterGXL, leader of the Podtacular All-Stars, and of course CapnKrunk with this month’s voice mails. We cover tons of cool tales from the foxhole sent in by listeners this week. There were some really great screenshots to choose from in the gallery but I had to take one from the recent humpday challenge. Show’s about 1:22. Enjoy!

Podtacular Rec E vs. GCN Forums Clan Match

After being delayed twice and then changing the time enough times to give a calendar a headache, Rec E finally took on the boys over at the GCN forums in a five game series. Podtacular Recreation E started off with a strong showing with a full roster of eight players in the lobby while Gamercast Network had four. Eventually they got six in but couldn’t get the eight they promised so two latecomers had to leave our party. Duff 3c, the GCN team leader talked a big game but unfortunately couldn’t make it since he had to attend the Kane and Lynch community event. He handed over team leader to herroan09, a level 41 who talked an even bigger (but friendly) game on the boards and got the hype up.

Was their play as big as their words? Read on in the forums Big thanks to the GCN forumgoers for some great games.

Podtacular vs Bungie Humpday Challenge: The Sequel!

Well, it looks like it’s time to rekindle a friendly rivalry and go head to head with none other than Bungie themselves for another Humpday Challenge!

If you recall (and here’s a link if you don’t), Podtacular flew the glorious flag of victory after beating Bungie back in June 2006. It was a hard and well-fought battle, but now we’re back to do it again in Halo 3! Wish those members of the Podtacular community that will be playing tonight luck!

UPDATE: Well, we can say we started off great, but they got the better of us and things eventually slid downhill as Bungie beat us 2 games to 1. What can we say, it was fair and square (except for one Mr. Luke Smith putting the kick-boot to one of our players during the second game) and above all, it was fun and we definitely look forward to rematch sometime in the future. That and some Team Bubblebath!
