Podtacular 721: Poncho Dirt

This week it’s just Dust Storm and Godzilla T behind the microphones as we not cover Halo: Retribution, not cover Halo: Shadow of Intent, but Dirt from Halo: Evolutions. Needless to day, we found after the fact that we had already discussed these books, so we had a change mid show. In addition to the story, we talk about the recently released Halo 5 concept art, latest community update and spotlight Waypoint articles, and other community musings. Next book we’ll read (and we’ve check this time) is Halo: Smoke and Shadow.

Machinima Monday: Sentinel | Revelations

We had the pleasure of showing off the trailer of this machinima at Halo: Outpost Discovery in Philadelphia and we’re excited to see it finally see the light of day. Sentinel | Revelations continues the story started by Sentinel | Project Renegade. After the UNSC get word of a Forerunner AI on the planet of Ragnok, the Sentinel Renegades are sent with Raven to stop the UNSC.

Podtacular 720: Rebirth

Another week and yet another interview here on the podcast mixed in with our regular show. Unfortunately the community spotlight was delayed, but there’s plenty more community content and events happening that were worthy of note. We’re please to have some of the folks from Corona Interactive to talk about Project: REBIRTH, a cinematic Halo fan project. As guests, we welcome SierraI07, Rythaze and RatDadJoe and they are kind enough to give us more details on what kind of a project they are trying to put together and have releasing later this year.

Podtacular 719: Interview with RealLifeSpartan

This year, we started our Streamer Showcase Saturday and we had the pleasure of highlighting RealLifeSpartan. We’ve been entertained by his personality and presentation we couldn’t not try to have him on the podcast, and he agreed! This special episode is learning more about the man behind the armor on screen: how he got involved with streaming Halo, what his hobbies are, what aquatic life he likes, and anything else we could fit into one hour. Give him a follow on Twitch and Twitter.

Podtacular 718: Community Catch-up

There’s no topic of the week for this week’s show as we were catching up on the numerous edits and fan project updates we didn’t get to last week. Fret not, there’s still a lot of good discussion from the latest community musings (we speak of course of thinks like the grappling hook), Halo updates and other community content. Have a topic you want us to cover? Have someone in mind we should interview? Have a funny, cool, amazing, interesting story to tell from a Halo experience? Come share them with us in our Discord server: https://podtacular.com/discord or send us an email: submissions@podtacular.com.

Streamer Showcase: Lady Echidna

Welcome back to Saturday and our latest community highlight series and to continue our series, we’re sticking with Twitch for our next streamer.

Lady Echidna has been playing Halo 5: Guardians daily for almost a month at the time of this post playing a mix of ranked and social, but if you take a moment to watch her game play, you can see why she’s earned Diamond and Onyx ranks. Her stream presentation is very clean and simplistic for an easy watching and she is very engaged with viewers both in chat and those who join her for games.

Lady Echidna streams on Twitch weekdays in the evenings and on weekends usually starting in the morning. You can subscribe to Lady Echidna on Twitch and follow her on Twitter and Instagram.
