Podtacular 692: The Outpost Discovery Report

Dust Storm is back after visiting Orlando to experience Halo Outpost Discovery. With the overwhelming feedback that the experience has received, both positive and negative, Outpost is definitely a unique experience and one that is worth exploring if you’re able. Despite the first Outpost feeling very much like a trial run, 343 Industries and Herschend Family Entertainment have taken feedback critically and have publicly committed to making changes downstream, which we’re excited to see! We also helped bring together four panels for Outpost Discovery programming and look to bring even more to Philadelphia! The normal roundup of community updates and spotlights also graces us this show.

Podtacular 690: Art Doodles

We had a change up in this week’s scheduled guest so we swapped with our community update. We did see a new Community Spotlight post on Waypoint along with a new Discovery Dispatch and new Husky Raid playlist.

A new Elite controller aims to improve on the first edition and address the issues and recommendations from the community. Podtacular 687: Infinite Trailer Discussion

The Xbox media brief this year had its handful of surprises and arguably saved the best for last, wrapping up the brief with the trailer for Halo Infinite that turned out to be the opening cut-scene from the game. What threw most people off was the different tone presented in the trailer that is a welcomed change to the franchise and what may be 343’s truly unique touch to the Halo narrative in the games. Of course we do a detailed breakdown of the trailer with help from Fuchs from Forward Unto Dawn and Unikraken from Sins of the Prophets. Grab your popcorn, cause this is a lengthy one!
