Podtacular 678: Kilo-Five

Our first book club podcast of the year finds us in the exploits of ONI fueling the Sangheili civil war and the formation of Kilo-5 comprised of a mixed bag of individuals and personalities. Over the events of this trilogy, we see the continuation of the Ghosts of Onyx novel, the setup of the Halo 4 campaign story and threats rekindled in the Outer Colonies and what would become the Servants of Abiding Truth. Unlike a complete summary of the books done by other podcasts like Podcast Evolved and Halo Conversationalists, we hit some of our favorites and most impactful moments of the novels with the help from Toa Freak, Masterz and Aaron from Podcast Evolved.

It’s an incredible accomplishment and we appreciate all she does for the industry. With that out of the way, it’s time for more juicy Infinite news that she discussed on the latest installment of IGN’s Unfiltered. We’re also pleased to welcome back folks from the fan game Halo: Downfall as they discuss their renewed direction for the project. There’s a big reason behind this episode’s title too, so make sure you listen through until the end.
