Podtacular 678: Kilo-Five

Our first book club podcast of the year finds us in the exploits of ONI fueling the Sangheili civil war and the formation of Kilo-5 comprised of a mixed bag of individuals and personalities. Over the events of this trilogy, we see the continuation of the Ghosts of Onyx novel, the setup of the Halo 4 campaign story and threats rekindled in the Outer Colonies and what would become the Servants of Abiding Truth. Unlike a complete summary of the books done by other podcasts like Podcast Evolved and Halo Conversationalists, we hit some of our favorites and most impactful moments of the novels with the help from Toa Freak, Masterz and Aaron from Podcast Evolved.

Podtacular 675: MCC Pathfinder’s Council

MCC on PC has generated quite the nostalgic hype amongst Halo fans and we’re no exception! While there’s still no firm release date on Halo: Reach coming to the Microsoft Store or Steam, we do know that 343 is taking their time to make the PC experience right for those players. We’ve already heard about FoV sliders, updated textures, keyboard and mouse controls and that’s about it, leaving open a lot to be discussed on what other changes should be considered before a release comes to PC. With help from the community, we tackle this topic in this week’s episode pulling in some muscle to give us an expert look into the subject at hand.

This week’s guest list features community members from around the PC fan game and modding scene: Unikraken (Sins of the Prophets), Masterz (SPV3), GameCheat (ElDewrito), AssaultCommand (ElDewrito & Project Contingency), R93_Sniper (Project Contingency), SuperSniper & General_101 (Project Cartographer), N0rthM0nk (Downfall), TheChunkierBean & Tosh (Installation 01) & JeBobs (Coral).

Podtacular 674: Ask Sketch Anything

We’re kicking it back this week and taking things a bit easy as we gear up for what is expected to be a packed topic next week. After the announcement of Reach coming to MCC and MCC on PC, our beloved CM Ske7ch took to Reddit to let Halo fans ask him anything. We discuss his answers and talk about the latest community update.
