hey, its testpilot here. i dont actually have a 360 or halo 3 yet, but im getting both for christmas. a lot of my friends have halo 3 though and i have played the forge a lot. i love making team oriented maps, especially ones with bases. i have developed a few tricks to make bases work well and look good.
first of all, if you want a weapon rack instead of having to set guns and stuff up on the wall, you can use a human barricade turned on its side, so that the actual bottom is up against the wall and the riveted side with the indents down towards the floor. if you set the guns flat they should look great. big guns like the rocket launcher need to be set sideways, so that they fit on the rack completely.
you can make turrets float by setting crates on top of each other, placing the turret on top, and then deleting all of the crates. of you did it right the turret should stay in the air, and you can still mount it and everything, if you can get up to it of course. othe only drawback is that you have virtually no cover if its in the air.
if you need to make a wall that cant simply be jumped over, all you need to do is set 4 small crates in a square, and one big crate on top, then they can just barely not jump over, but they can still easily shoot you or throw grenades over it. if you want it to be an even better wall, put a small barricade on top for cover, and it also makes the wall more stable.
also if you are making a race type level, and want to have ramps, turn an alien barricade on its side, and it makes for a great ramp.
i actually have a couple of maps that i have made and i think are pretty fun. after christmas im gonna grab those levels from my friends fileshare and put em on mine. my gamer tag is testpilot2, but that wont happen till after christmas.

hey podtacular, phil101 here to tell u about my infection game based on the alien vs predator movie. the humans (predators) start with spartan lazers and rockets with unlimited ammo and regular shields. the two alpha zombies(aliens) are slow and strong like the queen aliens and spawn with swords. the people they infect are faster and slightly weaker. everyone has poor active camo. the last predator standing is stronger and faster. this game is best played on last resort or high ground but is fun on almost any mid to large map and is also fun because you can get the stuff scared out of you if you arent paying attention to the zombies.
My second creation is a CTF map on Last Resort on the beach called Hellfire (i think foo mo was in my game when i was making it). One base is on the seawall and the other is parallel to the wall floating out in the ocean and is made of containers. there are also a bridge connecting the bases and two floating islands that are connected to the bridge and by teleports at the bases. there is a spartan lazer in the middle and each base has a sniper. this map is a very open and u may get Br’d a lot if you dont use cover. this map also might require some crouch jumping skills to get from one crate to the next but over all it is fun CTF map.

Yo podtac! its GamerfreakB7 here again with my “Latest” custom map. Actually i’ve been working on it for a long time now… It’s called (This is a mouthfull) Telepandemonium (Tell-uh-pan-duh-moe-nee-um). It’s basically Chiron TL-34 combined with Guardian and pure Randomness. Instead of each teleporter leading to a certain one, they’re completely random and you never know where you’re gonna end up. If you’re lucky, you’ll get in a teleporter and end up in a vortex that leads to a “Weapons Stash” which is up on the strange platform thing above the courtyard. It has a Lazzzerrr, huge amounts of grenades, a trip mine, a grav lift and a radar jammer all in one. There is a secret though. if you turn around as soon as you get to the stash, walk along the edge of the platform around to the other side and you will find a sender node that will send you to a tree limb connected to the building with the sniper rifle in the basement. Continue down this tree limb and you will find a sniper rifle leaning against the trunk. I have deleted all the other snipers on the map so only a select few will get to it. When you get it you are at a bad sniping angle, but if you’re lucky, you can make it to a pathway below. Another special teleporter will send you the sword and custom power-up spawn. This is the only sword/hammer on the map so use it wisely. Finnally there is a headquarters near the yellow central lift oppisite the “sniper tree”. It is at the bottom of the lift and has: 1 Spanker (the rocket launcher); 2 BR’s; 1 Shotty; PLENTY of AR’s; 2 SMG’s; a table with equpment and ‘nades; and finally a Mongoose for those crazy drivers. An one last cool thing. There are no spawn points so instead, you spawn in a teleporter. This makes it seem as if the Covies or UNSC are teleporting in renforcements or somthing… I haven’t yet finisned it so this is all a work in progress and is liable to change, but expect this project to produce an awesome map. So thats it for telepandemonium. I have to share one other thing. It isn’t a custom but i need to say it. I know how to pilot an anti-air wraith! To do so follow these steps: 1. Snipe out the gunner and then get on top of the wraith but DO NOT hijack it. ( 2.Use the standard melee until the hatch comes off. (3. Crouch into a spot where you cannot see the message “Hold LB to board wraith” and where you can shoot the pilot right in the face. (4 Hold down the Right Bumper and shoot the pilot right in the face. (5. Kick some ASS with an AA Wraith. BE CAREFUL because if you get out, the wraith will self-destruct! So that’s it for me! hey its lovable yet deadly shotgunfreindly with some amazing customs and
creations to share. well first off id like to start with a quick note to
my personal map variant of Valhalla called Valkrine you can get it in my
fileshare im not gona go into detail on it as i want to talk about my
other custom and map.
the map and custom to go along with it that i would like to present to you
foo moo, JvB and worthless minions that co-host with them is called cannon
wars. cannon wars is a map variant that i made on narrows, in cannon wars
you have all spawns placed behind each man cannon so that once you die you
can easily get back in the fight. the fights that take place all happen in
midair flying through the mancannons. on the map itself you have one side
filled with firebombs and spike grenades infront of the man cannon, and
the other is filled with plasmas and frags. the landing area right below
the mancannons are filled with fusion coils so if you happen to land there
i recommend you get out of the area dubbed by friends the Fire Pit.
now moving on to the custom game type itself, cannon wars is played with
unlimited ammo, no weapons on the map, and rockets and splazers as
starting weapons with unlimited ammo.(note to JvB i cannot believe you had
never heard of the term Splazer before you read it in one of my past
submissions). anyways gravity is turned down to 75% or 50% not sure to
make flying through the mancannons and having mid air collisions more
interesting. now this next part is about honesty the game is supposed to
be played where you cannot shoot or throw grenades unless you are in mid
air because you ran through the mancannon. many people do not grasp this
concept well and decide to shoot whenever they want. well if so firmly
boot them as the game is no fun this way. the game is very fun and should
be played as a every man for him self match up no teams. you can enjoy
this with a little and 3 players but with as many as 16 players. i
currently do not have the map in my fileshare due to the dreaded RROD(red
ring of death in case JvB does not know that one as well) which has lasted
me over 8-10 weeks, im not sure as i have lost count after the first 5
weeks.
anyways lets finish up this taco(yes i am mexican) shoutouts to whoever
deserves a shoutout as i know many people do but never receive them and
come on people its the giving time of year.
keep on giving those special things, to those special people, who have
those special places, in your special heat. which can be located in your
special body, which is special for no special reason.
P.S. if case you are wondering why my 360 has been gone for such a long
time UPS thought it would be funny to send my 360 to the freezing corners
of Moscow,Russia instead of my house. Russian Kolab is there any way that
you can help me with this as you are apprantely Russian?
alright third submission. I creation that I made using the new maps.
foundery to be specific. if you delete everyt hing on the map you can add
a lot of fun new things like a soccer ball to the map. if you turn the
fence boxes (another new item) on their sides and put them at each end of
the room. put mancannons (so happy they have these now!!!) at the coners
of the room. put the sign a/b above respective goals (Fence boxes) put
deployable covers in the goal to respawn rapidly for the goalie to use to
stop the ball. put cones around the sides to show the side lines. if you
scatter grenades around the map (Probably spike or Plasma) to stick to the
ball to make it move. give the goalie the hammer and every one else with
automatic weapons. (plasma weapons work best) then go into forge to have
the referee go into moniter mode to moniter (get it? man thats funny) the
game. give points whenever someone scores they remember that. so it is
like soccer. but deadly. o also give everyone super health and if you want
to put down the gravity a little so it is more fast paced. I made this the
morning that the new maps came on the marketplace. I thought it was fu and
I hope you use this submission thank you you are amazing and you keep on
podcasting that people can play on their fraged trucks (those poor trucks)
Hello guys. My map is called the loop and is made on narrows. The basic
idea was to make the man cannons the most used transportation method. I
wanted to keep players away from the main top bridge. What I did was
creating a long chain of fusion coils. By Accident they continued firing
themselves every 10 seconds, but I leaved it like that. I added a ghost
and a mongoose near each man cannon to make an interesting fight. Once I
realized that the man cannons were the most important part of my map I
added grav lifts near the place the player lands so that they would keep
flying from one side to the other. Also note that plasma grenades will
also start rotating around and around until they stuck someone, and there
is nothing something more satisfying than a mid-air splatter.Fusion coils
that keep firing and a rotating effect on the cannons no wonder its called
the loop.KEEP UP STUCKING GHOST-USING NOOBS!

Lilkuke here, sending in my comment for the Customs and Creations show
Okay, so, I played a ton of Customs a few days ago with Painkilla, Klutch,
and some of the other PodPeeps. One of them was Tremors. I had never played
Tremors before, so it was a really cool game.
You play it on a custom map called Tremor Valley. It’s set on Valhalla.
There are crates scattered across the map that can’t move. The point is, 2
people, on a different team then the others, are in choppers, trying to
splatter people who are trying to capture the flag. So, if the red team
(the team trying to capture the flag) stands on top of a crate or the
cliffs scattered across the map, the blue team can’t splatter them.
Obviously, if the red team scores, they win the game. This game is an
awesome game and, as demonstrated by Klutch, can be very frustrating.
Some of the other games we played were Team BubbleBath, Hobo Heights,
Multi-Theft on Mario Tower, and others.
Shoutouts to the Godtacular team: ChuckieJ, Equilibrium, Foo Mo, Logan
Payne, Psalm 116, and everyone else.
So, keep on fraggin’ trucks, considering I don’t have a witty outtro this
time, oh well.

First time posting, i am new to podcasts but podtacular is by far the best
i have listened to. in my opinion a cool map for Halo would be Facing
Worlds from The first Unreal Tournament. It is a map made especially for
CTF and has extremely good sniping spots. Shootout to Foo Mo Jive (p.s.
podtacular is fawesome)

And I have a gametype called Duelarama for use on Narrows, Construct,
Guardian or Isolation(the rest are too big and make it chincy) anyway it
involves people running around with Magnums and instant kills, at 300
speed, if you find the Cloak, you will want to stop running and hide to
get some sneky kilss, and Narrows is the best because it gets really zany
to shoot people as the Man Cannon across the map.
It will be on my file share if i remember, send me a message and remind
me, It is best with four or less people, or it gets too crazy and there is
no thought, just shooting quickly, also I am working on a version that
involves AR’s it is kinda N00by as it just means holding the trigger
forever, but it can be fun

Hello Podtacular, Spoof here and I just wanted to share a custom game and
map. The game is called “Fight Night” and it is played on the map “Boxing
Ring”
The Game: Fight night is a game where you pick any weapon (Usually ends up
being a needler or Gravity hammer) and is best played with a lot of
people.It’s basically a free for all to see who can acquire the most
kills. You can’t really play without the map to go with it, because it
adds to the fun.
The Map: Boxing Ring is an edited version of the map “Guardian”. But, all
spawn points are in the middle,(Top level) and all exits are covered with
Transporters. They are set on random so if you enter one you could either
save yourself or doom yourself to humiliation.

Keep on fraggin’ skilled players of Halo 3 who frag noobs who try to frag
skilled players but can’t because their noobs so they end up fraggin’
their teammates and they get shouted at so they stop playing Halo 3 and go

Hi everyone, to start us off my GT is ggrozny. → (Graws-knee)
I am really starting to like custom games and forging maps. If you have a
group of friends that do alot of customs and/or forging send me an invite
on xbl I would love to do more but just don’t know enough people that like
it also.
This map takes part in the middle of sandtrap inside the ruins. Every
normal player has no radar, and runs at 110%. I have blocked off every
exit so no one should be getting out. Each team will spawn on one side of
the hall, if you take a look in the link provided in the show notes you
can get an idea of what it will look like. Once you spawn you will need to
work your way to the middle of the hall. There is a teleportor in the
middle that leads to the flag room which holds both flags, so both teams
will be heading there. In each base you will find ONE flame grenade and
one sniper rifle, so it can get a bit hectic heading toward the flag
room.
(Flag at home to score is turned on, so get on that defense as well as
that offense!)
Once you are in the flag room, you have a little bit more room to move
around, and explore. In this room you will find a flare, BR, regenerater,
two spikers, and a shotgun spread out and somewhat hidden out of the way,
along with both flags of course. Once you have grabbed the flag you will
be granted 150% health and your radar, but at a cost, you now run at a
speed of 90%. Grab any equipment that might help you score (ex. flare) and
head back to the teleporter you came through, looking out for any people on
the other team heading in the way your heading out.
This is basically it. A small yet pretty fun medium size game of capture
the flag with a neutral flag feel.
Tatsuyame also helped in placing items and thinking of what kind of stuff
to add. We even had a chopper at each end of the hall facing the middle,
ready to tear people up on the way to the flag room.

Jburton90 helped in testing it, and also provided a nice map showing the
area you play in included with the screenshots in the link below (show
notes)
Jburton90 also had an idea to take the grenades and other weapons out, and
leaving it with SMGs, which would also be alot of fun.
