(hosts foo mo, JVB, SOG Froobin)
Tally ho Podtac Homeys! I have information on both skulls for you!
The first Skull, which is gold, is called Famine. It reduces ammo by 50%
on every weapon. When you encounter 2 Grunt driven ghosts, look above.
There is an overhang. Get there, and on the last triangle hanging out is
the Famine skull. A good use of Grenade jumping is reccomended to get this
2x multiplier skull.
The second Skull, which is silver, is called Cowbell. It significantly
increases the explosion of Rockets, Fuel Rods, nades, etc. To get this
follow my instructions. When you defeat the scarab, there is a small
structure in the area. Raid it with a friend or two, and stock up on Grav
Lifts. When you raid the larger structure, Look up at a point. There will
be many glass case platforms on top of eachother. put two gravlifts on top
of eachother to get to the top glass platform that holds the Famine skull.
Keep on fraggin’ Arbiter teabagging nub cakes who go on the expedition of
the every desicive Nay-Nay.
ve got a few tips for the ark level. The following are for split screen
play. When you start the level and get right before the hill to snipe, call out
what target your getting. Later on when you get to the crashed pelican,
pick up the rockets and use them all on the incoming prowlers, but save 2
rounds. Give the rocket to one of the marines and load them up onto a
mongoose. Alittle farther on the way, by the other crashed ship flip over
the hog and have a player drive, the other on the gun, and the rocket guy
in the side. this makes your hog a killing machine. kill and enjoy. Fast
forward to the scarb part, there is a weird ramp/building, under it there
is some fuel rods, but the tricky part is grunts are already using them.
what i do is sneak round on one side and assassinate the 1st one and take
his gun. and snipe the other one. i use the fuel rod on the later brutes
and other bad guys. keep up the good work!1shout out to amexican, aids,
s.g.a and sean dulin
keep on fragin’ anus armor!!!!
For anyone looking for the Headshot Honcho Achievement, this is the map for
you. After you beat the first section of jackals, grunts and brutes, I’d
suggest pulling out your sniper and unload headshots to the grunts and
brutes in your second initial encounter with them. (the place where the
Anti-Air Gun is)
Now, for those who know me, I like the terminals, so if you are having a
hard time finding them, heres a quick guide. The first one is in the room
and to the left through the doors. The room is after the Anti-Air Gun and
before the place where the longsword comes crashing down. The second one
is where you activate the light bridge to let the marines cross before the
big battle with the many wraths and the Scarab. If you look at the switch,
straight behind you is the second one. The last one on this level is just
after the room of sleeping grunts and the brute talking to himself. After
you take them out, go down the long hallway and after you come out, the
terminal is underneath you in a room. You may even see Guilty Spark go in
there if you kill off some of the grunts and then come to the terminal.
That’s my tips for the Ark.
Keep on Fraggin’ Trucks. (Keep it original)
Hey Podtacular it’s Uzumaki (oo-zoo-ma-key)15 with tips for the Ark campain
level:
When you reach the first area snipe off the brutes with your Sniper rifle
then jump down and take out the grunts and jackels after the area is clear
go up the lift onto the platform and rip off a plasma turret, then proceed
through the tunnel.
Once you get to the second area drop the turret and snipe off the Jackel
on the anti-air gun, then proceed to snipe the brutes and BR the grunts
when the hunters show up pick up the turret and move onto the highground
and letem have (it try to focus on one at a time), once your out of ammo
retreat to the first area and get another turret this helps save ammo that
you will need later. When the hunters are dead pick up a carbine from a fallen jackel as it is
effective against the brute and grunts on the hill take them out and move
on. By this time the commander tells you to hurry up and find and LZ head
through the door way and pick off the brutes and grunts, after they are
down two Prowlers will show up snipe them off and get into the drivers
seat if your playing alone get a marine in the turret as they are usually
much more accurat than you. (note: there is a rocket launcher near the
pelican if you want to pick it up)
Proceed through the vehicles, when you drop off the ledge lading towards
the doorway hop out of the prowler and leave your marine there, then hop
into the chopper locate next to a covie ammo container filled with Brute
Shots, head into the valley and engage the other choppers.
Drive up and take out the Brute and grunts but be carful two grunt have
fuel rod cannons which can kill your chopper quickly, take them out a
trade your snipe rifle for the Fuel rod cannon, hop back into your chopper
and take out the brutes leading to the door way hop out of the chopper and
use the FRC to take out the Shades.
After the area is clear get on your chopper and head back to your prowler
then turn to your right, there will be two ghosts that attack you here,
try not to destroy them as you will need a ghost later. (note: the Famine
skull is located here but I won’t go into how to get it.)
Once you clear out the ememies go back and hop into the ghost proceed
through the tunnel and you will see a platform one your left and a Wraith
on your right now stay on the ghost and stay in the cave so the wraith
can’t hit you and pour plasma into the wraith. Sooner or later the wraith will explode and the brutes on your left will
retreat drive into the valley and destroy the ghosts that ambush you. Now
you have to take out two AA wraiths BE CARFUL as if you are on your ghost
they will fire at you as will the brutes in the cave I reccommend getting
out of the ghost and remove the brutes and grunts then use the FRC to
eliminate the wraiths.
P.S. For the Meta-Game use the following skulls and you will get through
fine on normal: Tough luck, Catch, Fog, T-storm, and Mystic, also if you
use a vehicle and have a marine on the turret you will get points for his
kills.
P.S.S. If you have the IWHBYD skull on after the first hunter encounter a
marine will say “I saw my whole life flash before my eyes…It sucked.”
P.S.S.S. Here is a tip for getting the cowbell skull on this level: After
the scarab battle there is a building to the left of where the scarab was
go in there and pick up a grave lift then proceed as normal when you reach
the slope leading to a large pack of brutes (right before the cartographer)
go down to the doorway and look up your will see several openings the
skulls I think the second to the top now some people on youtube say to
place the Grave lift just right on the slope but I found if you jump and
place the grave lift on the first opening it is very easy to get the
skull.
Thats all I got sorry it was so long keep on fraggin’ trucks.
so time for some tips for the Ark (Acts of Random Kindness). if your
playing on legendary, when you find the hunters that have been dropped off
by the drop ship. you may find you run out of br and sniper ammo real
quick. you can run back and grab some covenant ammo or… you can jump
down from your perch into the area below where the hunters are causing
havoc. you duel-weild a pair of plasma pistols and charge up a full shot.
get as close as you can to the hunters and fire both the shots. the hunter
you shot at will kind of freeze for a moment, you give him a quick punch
and jump. he will hit you, but instead of dieing, you will fly up real
high and survive. if you do this again and again you will eventually ‘beat
down’ a hunter. you get crazy meta points for this.
keep of fraging those weird egg-nog cartons!!
During this whole level, one thing is nessesary: Grab heavy weapons. This
entire level is basically all vehicles, there are wraiths, ghosts,
choppers, tanks, hogs, moongease, up the wazu with this level. And if you
find short range weapons, get them too. The whole level is either outside
in vehicles or in small hallways indoors. Another tip, for the people who
dont have the Famine skull yet, its on a bridge at about half way through
the level. This is a skull that you MUST be on legendary for (You may be
able to get it on Heroic i dont remember). You’ll know your there when you
get to a fork in the road, the left direction takes you to a fairly large
room with wraiths and choppers and a brige that leads to a door to go
inside to the next area. The other leads to reinforcments with tanks and
hogs, after a ship drops them off. On the way to the reinforcments, the
bridge is right there, you’ve got to climb up to it. and find it in one of
the angled pillars. You can blow yourself up into where it is, or take your
time to get a ghost up there. Thats all I got for this map, so keep fraggin
robot papayas that stick to your ceiling and eat your face while you sleep.
Hey podtacular I have a way to get the famine skull.First off you have to
get to where the skull is.To do this do the level like you normally
would, when u get to where u have to follow the pelican follow it like you
would(before you follow the pelican pick up a deployable cover you will
need this later). You get to a point where you will meet a few ghosts take
theses out.Above you are huge beams follow these up the hill. When you get
to the top there are some brutes jackals and grunts take these out as they
will be a problem if you let them live. You will notice a rock to the side
jump on it and walk till hit the invisible barrier.Walk beside it until
you get to the structure somewhat diagonal from you. When you get to it go
to the third pillar look up and you should see the famine skull. Now stand
on the bank like thing strutting out from the pillar go to this and deploy
the deployable cover beside the pillar going up. Now stand on top of the
cover and you should be able to get the skull this might take a few
tries.
PS you have to do this level from the beginning on normal heroic or
legendary. keep on fragging kermit the frog.
At the beginning a little after when you see the brutes before you fight
the hunters rip of a turret and only use them agenst the hunters, this
will stop them in there tracks and they cant move and then they die.
snipe the brutes at the beginning and stick them. make a lot of grunt head
shots and you will go fast on this level. this works good on legendary. A
good way on killing the brutes is use a jackal plasma or a plasma pistol
and shoot them with a big green ball of death. then battle rifle them
about 5 to 10 bullets and there dead. Don’t snipe the grunts there e-z to
kill with a battle rifle. After when your about to go agenst the choppers
get the rocket launcher and don’t waste it save one rocket at least then
when your near the mongoose give it to the marine and get the marine on
the back of the mongoose. the marine will have ever lasting ammo and they
have amazing aim. so you can be driving around killing all those
choppers. man thats e-zzzzz. don’t let the marines go away with your
rocket launcher marine, i had to start the check point over because the
marines did not do want I wanted them to do. you should have the sniper
right. Any way when you get to the wraiths use the mongoose and marine
with rockets and it will be easy. snipe every thing on the shades. Any way
thats to long but yaa so keep killing pals in halo and foo moo start
playing a harder level in campaign or else i bet my pet could do better.
so this is Richard reporting from ecuador. bye
Hi this is Phyronious (fie-rone-EE-us) first time poster with alot of
potential. In this level there is two skulls and some terminals. To get
the terminals all you have to do is find one and press X. I haven’t found
them all myself, but I know they look like computers mixed with Oracles.
One of them you pass while following Guilty Spark. Approch and press X. If
you find all in the game you get a secert achivment(yay gamerscore) but
that reqires some work. To majorly pwn the scarab you can either get a
chopper and when it is by the middle building, picture it as a giant ramp
in a huge BMX show, and the scarab is the other side, getting any ideas?
Boost in mid-air to get on to the scarab. But, if you are lazy and instead
of doing that, you just kicked a poor helpless marine out of their scorpian
tank and you saw the scarab and you had a flashback to the scarab on tank
action in halo 2, dont worry, just drive around back and shoot that
scarabs anus armour off, literily. Blast that babies butt of till its
little glowing power cell is exposed, and then shoot one last
time…..BOOM. You win. But make sure you grab the grav lift from the
central building aka “RAMP” and hold on to that puppy for dear Hayabusa
Armor, becuase you will need it. Keep going until you see a stair well
going down, but watch out, you will know its the one because you will hit
a check point at the entrance. It you look were the stairs end there will
be a landing and it will go down parralel to where you went down in the
first place. Above that landing there will be mutiple levels that are to
small to get into. Throw your gravlift dawn and at the top level there
will be a skull. Press RB to pick up. Get to the next checkpoint and save
and quit, you will have the skull, but do not have to worry about having
to complete the level. Thats all I have for the level, but I do Have an
allrounder trick, when someone throws a frag or sticky (firebombs dont
espode and spikes are like shotguns) jump tward them, if you do it right
you will land in back of them, just right for a behind-beatdown.
keep on resisting the blivital messages Foo Mo sends in the podcasts about
fragging the midgets hiding in the backs of trucks
Hey Foo Mo and JVB,
This is one of my favorite levels of the game and the first level that I
got the meta-game score achievement. The main difference between this
level and the others is that instead of needing 15,000 points you need
50,000 but that is not hard to do because of all of the vehicles and the
scarab that you will ultimatly kill on this level. I will give a tip on
the scarab part because that is my favorite part. Once you get in the
tank after you turn on the bridge go out and make sure you kill the
wraiths (i think there are 3 or 4) and WATCH OUT FOR THE BRUTE WITH THE
FULE ROD GUN he will take out the tank quicker than a wraith will. After
you clear out all of the anti-armor guys then you need to drive up the
large ramp right in front of where the scarab lands. If you do this right
when it lands it will just keep walking into the ramp and will only hit you
a few times from its top gun but the main cannon on the “head” will not be
able to reach you. After this you can do one of two things either jump
onto the scarab from the side of the ramp and kill your way to the back
and take it down. Option number 2 is to try to take it down with the tank
from the top of the ramp or at least clear the brutes off the top of the
scarab. Either way works just as good but I like to clear the way with the
tank first then jumping on.
On this level while i was had cammo I came across a brute peeing on a
wall. You hear it peeing then he shakes it off and growls. I then just
killed him by hitting him in the back, I probably should have waitd for
him to finish but I was laughing too hard.
Way to go guys keep on fragging the stuff the guy before me fragged.
p.s. I saw ne-ne on a rocket ship heading to Uranus. So he could visit
Anus armor factory to pitch his new line of designer anus armor made from
emu feathers, green alpaca fur, and super uranus titanium.
First thing: when doing this level, never turn on the Tilt skull. The
beginning of this level is all sniping, and tilt just makes it harder. In
the beginning, there are also 3 sleeping grunts at the bottom of the
cliff. Second, when you get to the crashed Pelican site, there is a rocket
in the ruins. Kill all the brutes and grunts, and before the Prowlers show
up, grab it and use all of it except for one shot. Then just take out the
Prowlers with plasma pistols/grenades. Give the rocket to a marine and
have him either get on the back of a mongoose you drive, or ride in the
prowler you choose to take. Doesn’t matter. A marine with a rocket is
deadly because he has infinite ammo. If he happens to die, get a chopper.
That will come in handy. When you get to the part before you get the
Scorpion tanks, there is a wraith. Stay in the cave and fire at the wraith
with a chopper or ghost. Don’t let it hit you with it’s blast. Eventually
the wraith will die and you can get the warthog near that area if you
still have some marines. Then just board the anti-air wraiths and kill
them, don’t take them. Then, find some cover. Once the dropship comes with
the tanks, stuff will fly everywhere from the wind it makes. Pieces of anus
armor, nay nay, and bag of stuff will take down at least half your shields
if it happens to scrape your armpit hair. Then get in the scorpion tank
and pwn ghosts, hunter, and everything. (The marine says that). It should
be fairly simple. Just watch out for wraiths, shade turrets and the two
fuel rod brutes. Once you get inside, go up the walkway in front of you
and you can find some stuff you might need. It’s pretty simple inside. You
will soon be able to get outside. Get in either a tank or gauss warthog and
pwn some nubs. Then the scarab comes. I would use a gauss warthog and drive
around underneath the scarab and have the gunner shoot it’s legs until you
can get inside it. Don’t try and drive a vehicle to go up the building,
it’s pointless. Just take out the annoying Jackals, Grunts, and Brutes.
Fight your way in till you activate the Cartographer. Then fight your way
down, watching for active camo brutes with fire grenades. Pick up a
cloaking. Keep going until you get to the bottom level. Kill as many
brutes as you can, but when the hammer gorilla starts getting closer to
you, activate the cloaking and hope you can sneak around and assassinate
him. If not, then just throw some fire grenades and hope for the best.
Pick up his invincibility and go through the rest of the level.
That’s it. The Ark is one of my most favoritest levels, mainly because of
the tank. The Covenant is probably my most favorite because of hornets and
getting to use the anti-air wraith a lot and using a splaser to pwn
hunters. Well, keep on fragging cheese filled cupcakes.
The defeniton of a bombard is when someone dedicates themselves to removal
of heavy armor. There is only one ‘right’ way to do this.
Use either a Spartan Laser, Rocket Launcher or both and sit somewhere high
but partially protected to shield yourself from tanks. Intermittently shoot
at large cumbersome vehicles, like the Elephant, and do some good damage
against it, then sit for a moment before doing it again. This will
irritate the driver and make them come towards you, at which point you
wait until they are directly beneath you and jump down, hijack their
vehicle and drive off. Or you can just hit lighter vehicles for a one hit
kill. Bombards only work effectively on Sandtraps and Valhalla. Maps that
do not have vehicles, obviously, do not support this strategy.
If irritation does not get them to turn, simply destroy the vehicle and
anyone else who tries to escape. Go get to high, covered locations. Ride
on top of someone else’s Banshee and then jump off at the right moment. In
Valhalla, on the tippy top of their base, in Sandtraps the very peak of the
center structure. Or just find an out-of-the-way place to hise and fire
from, but do not stay there for long once you have been spotted.
NEXT WEEK!: Gravity Hammers and YOU!
Hey Podtacular,
it’s zomg26 with some tips for the awesome level that is the ark. this is
in my top 5 favorite campaign levels, and is always a blast to play
through. anyway, on to the tips. during the first sniper battle, if you’re
playing on legendary, there will be a small group of grunts that will own
you and ODST buddies time and again if you’re not careful. usually one of
the grunts will do a suicide charge, that will, even if you survive, wipe
out your entire marine force. just be ready to switch to your BR for some
quick headshots to deal with them. later, after you’ve cleared out the
covenant force positioned around the crashed pelican, make sure to salvage
through the wreckage to find the rocket launcher, which will easily own the
prowlers and some of the choppers over the hill.
keep up the amazing work,
keep on fraggin’ mongeese,
ZOMG26
Hey podtacular! Rouge 119 here with a gothic tip for The Ark.
This is the level with in my opinion, The to most annoying skulls to get.
The first one is the famine skull. It’s at the part where you drive under
this thing and there are two ghosts under it. Get on top of that and it is
located at the far end out in one of the obstructions. Well to get up on to
the platform, look for the rocks to the left at the bottom of the hill.
jump up and then to the platform. Get a very lucky grenade jump. (use
plasmas, frags suck grunts for nade jumping here.) Then you get a hard
earned skull.
Next up the cowbell. When you fight the scarab, kill it then go into the
structure in the middle. Look for a covey container, and grab a grav lift
off it. Fight up the ramp and in to the building. Once you pass the room
with all the plasma cores in it. Head down and out but don’t go down the
ramp. look straight and you should see five ledges ahead. the skull is on
the top one. Go down the ramp a little and the experiment with the
placement of the grav lift. Make sure it’s on the ramp and that you jump
into it, not just walk in.
Keep on strappin’ TNT to one-legged rabbits that have been recently
violated by barney. Rouge 119 out
hey podtacular i have a funny secret for the ark. after defeating the
scarab you go into the building untill you get to the hallway where the
walls are made of glass and there is a ramp leading down after entering
the room with sleeping grunts assasinate or sneak past them in the corner
near the door you will see a brute that is taking a wizz. thanks for
listening and hope you all enjoy.
gamertag: zangor13
keep on custamizing you anus armor!
Hey Foomo,
One of the most useful things you can do is to save the ODST or Marines
when you reach the part where two prowlers come. You can do multiple
things with them, but the most useful is give a Rocket Launcher found near
the Pelican and hand it over to one. Then have them ride on the back of a
Marine-driven Mongoose or on the side of a Prowler (if you saved one). It
really helps if you can get them up to where you have to kill two AA
wraiths, as they can take one out with a well placed shot on the Achilles
Heel. If you want, you can put them onto your tank for the upcoming
battle, but they wont last as long.
Also, another great tip is to get a chopper where you fight the Scarab
and drive on top of the structure. When the Scarab is close to the left
side ( looking from down the slope) You can boost off the small ridge and
land on top.
Shoutout to Team Salty Peinguins, who will dominate in the Seasonal
Tournament, and Shoutout to Podtacular for being so great.
Krash
I just got done doing the meta achievment for this level and it can be
pretty easy. I did it by myself on Heroric with Famine and Fog Skulls on.
I had Grunt Birthday, Cowbell, and IWHBYD skulls on for fun even though
they dont help your score.
The Best thing I can suggest is after you go through the first sniper
point and you are heading into the secaond AA area where the Phantom drops
off the 2 Hunters. Jump up into the grav lift where there are two plasma
turretts. Break off at least one of the turrets and go through the cave. Use you Sniper and BR for all the Brutes, Jackals, and Grunts. When they
drop off the Hunters grab your Plasma Turret and let the Hunters have it. You should be able to kill both of the Hunters before you run out of Amo
for the turret.
Besides that if you dont die to often you should be able to get the
achievment on Heroic with those two skulls.
Hey guys, Jacked kill here. Heres some tips for The ark:
1. once you arrive in the room with all the sleeping grunts, there is a
brute in the corner and he is actually peeing, you can see this if u
replay it in the theater.
2.once u destroy the scarab, go inside the structure in the middle and
there are some grav lifts, grab one. once you arrive in a room where you
walk down a glass ramp, throw the grav lift on the ramp and run towards it
and go in it you should fly towards the small platforms and try 2 get 2 the
top one, the cowbell skull is up there.
3. once guilty spark goes into the small room with a terminal, shoot him,
he will respond “youre pissing me off, oh my, i didnt know i had cursing
in my vocal structure.” although you may have to have the IWHBYD skull on,
you might not.
thanks guys for doing such a great service to all the halo fans out there,
you guys are AWESOME.
keep on fraggin Kung Foo Mo JVB. dont grenade spam.
oh boy this is one of the most amazing Single player maps of all time in
halo history. oh wait i havent even introduced myself i am lord
shotgunfriendly the friendliest shotgun ull ever know(plz do this in a
british accent). anyways back to the Ark the Ark is really a amazing
mission there is a lot of sniping and vehicle stuff on this mission
including the first glimpse of the new and improved scorpion tank. time to
go off with my tips
1. for when ur doing the first sniping bit. you know how marines magically
create ammo out of nothing when u have squat. well when u are about to run
out of sniper rounds give your sniper to a ODST. the ODST Orbital Drop
Shock Troopers for those to lazy to read the books or join my bungie.net
group ODST Recon.
total
linkage are actually proven to be better shots and smarter then
regular marines in game. so give your snipers to them. every once and a
while you will run into ammo drops with snipers repeat the process.
2.next tip when you reach the point with the crashed longsword, go grab
the rockets and blow up the two prowlers with rockets killing off any
survivors with some BR fire. give the rockets to a marine and if any
prowlers survive grab one load it up with the rocket marine the sniper
marine and a gunner. from there u can go on a rampage killing off anything
that comes your way.
3.for those going for meta points instead of grabbing a prowler get the
mongoose and drive down on your own. at one point you will run into
choppers jack one if possible and commence some amazing vehicular
manslaughter or should i say alien/big stupid apes with amazingly large
guns slaughter. if you run these guys over you can get about 200 points
extra for a splatter kill and about 500 points extra for splatter sprees
within about 4 seconds.
4. once you arrive to the part where you must clear out the LZ(landing
zone for those who dont know military lingo) drop the chopper or prowler
and jump in a warthog which will be near by. take the warthog and start
running circles around the wraiths. make sure your gunner aims for the
exhaust port in the back a few round into it and the wraith goes up in
blue plasma-eeeeee flames.
5. once the scorpion tanks come down jump in one and its time to chew
bubble gum and kick ass big guns style. make sure to aim for the phantoms
which drop off troops for major points. also listen to the marine who
rides along with you for some very entertaining commentary on your
asskicking with big guns.
anyways i would just like to give a shout out to the Godtacular people out
there including ChuckieJ, Foo Moo himself, Lalizig, Dust Storm, Logan
Payne, and anyothers who show up regularly. oh and shout out to Foo Moos
Elite who amazingly is Foo Moo’s character model even though he hates the
sound of an Elite dying.
keep on fragging annoying little twerps on Xbox Live who think they are so
L33T when the only reason they won is that they camped with shotties and
rockets. CONGRATULATIONS! u fail have a nice day -_-.
After passing the crashed fantom with the grunts you go off the cliff and
kill everyone until you here the voice from the sky say “find me a place
where I can let down”
BUT
You dont even have to do that . If you just turn right then you can skip
that entire part it helped me when i needed to get the achivement where
you complete the entire game on ledandary although I wouldnt skip it if
you need to get the points achievement
keep on fraggen trucks while hanging out with bubba and while wearing your
just polished anus armour
hey podtacular! i just finished beating this level, so here is a tip! when
you get on the scarab, a brute should deploy a buble shield. use this to
your advantage, or go on and most likely have to re spawn. so as i was
saying, as the covvys charge u, melee them and destroy them. then u can
destroy realy fast.
thats my tip, keep on fraggin a farting elite!
Until next time I’m Foo Mo Jive (and this is)
