Okay i was playing grifball and I was on the bomb spawn point about to pick
it up but I got surrounded. I pulled my grav hammer and whacked the ground
they all went flying a couple of them actually hit the ceiling of the
map.Well, I got overkill from that one strike and went on a killing spree
with the bomb. But, the moment I armed the bomb I died from an
assassination. But at least I went out with a BANG!!!!!
Hey podtacular is EliteSpartan182 again with a tale from the fox hole. It
was on Last Resort. I was playing matchmaking in team slayer with one of my
friends goalie336. He had the invis and shotgun and I was going after the
spartan laser. We lowered the bridge and we got in a fire fight and it was
lagging bad. So I was getting shot at like crazy and grabed the splazer and
shot randomly into the crowd and in one shot I got a triple kill from the
one spazer shot. I went bac into theater and watched it, it turns out that
they were shotting me from the sniper spawn and my lazer shot through one
guy and into the fusion coils and eup the other two. I don’t have the film
because I showed it to my friend(goalie336) then it was my bros turn on the
box(we share the 360) and I lost the film. Sorry. good luck with the show.

P.S. My new years resolution is to try to sumit to every podcast I can.
Hey Podtac this is fOe KaNaRy, sendin in a tale from the foxhole. A couple
of months ago I was playin team slayer (I believe, If not it was
multi-flag) on Standoff and the game was laggin pretty bad. Well pretty
soon after the game started I was confronted with a fully loaded warthog
from the other team and was killed. Before I died I threw a sticky nade at
the seemingly motionless warthog (cause of the lag). The nade stuck the
vehicle and gave me a laggy triple kill from the grave with lots of flying
bodies and vehicle parts. I have a video of the clip and a pic. I’ll try to
get it up on my fileshare by the time the show comes out. Thanks for all
the hard work you guys put in to makin this podcast happen. Keep on fraggin
the guy with the bad connection.

It’s time for Crypto’s weekly reading lesson, if he’s on.
I’m sending in for the Callins and Tales from the Foxhole show this week.
My first tale is when I was playing Team Crazy King on snowbound with 3
other GamerChiefs staff members. Two of them are HLG members, so it’s no
surprise that brute shot rounds started raining down from the spires on the
top of the bases. We were rushing a base and I had just gotten to that
middle crevice into the bottom when 2 red team members came out of it. I
lunged for an assassination, but to my surprise, it showed the animation,
but when I hit him, nothing happened! I hit him but no damage occurred. I
then promptly died. Right after that, I was running towards someone, and a
grenade went off beside me. When the flash cleared another enemy spawned
behind it and hit me, killing me.
I’ve been a fan of the Banshee since Halo 1 for PC. I love the thrill of
engaging in those dogfights where you just circle with the other guy, and
try to outsmart each other. That’s gone in Halo 3, mostly.
And now for the next story!
I was just pulling up from a kill that got me a frenzy, I had gotten
boarded and rammed the guy into the ground on Valhalla by spinning. He died
and fell off, but not before the missile launcher guy noticed. He fired all
of the shots he could at me, only to have them blocked by a warthog going
through his base’s man cannon. All but 2 hit the flying hog, which I
dodged. The hog spun all the way across to the other base, killing 3 of my
team and 2 of his team mates by landing on them. Then he stuck me, so when
I blew up the bottom half of the banshee spun like a shuriken and hit him
in the head, killing him. Every player on the map died in that amount of
time.
And another!
It was Team Snipers on Valhalla, and me and my friend Sirnfet were teamed
against 3 other guys (our teammates left). We were pushing forward from a
set of killing sprees the other team got and we were tied with them from 39
all the way to 49. We were back to back on the big middle hill and and we
had each picked out our targets. One of the enemies un-scoped me with a
stray shot, and I turned and fired, for a no-scope. As I pulled the
trigger, I heard yet ANOTHER shot being fired at the same time. Me and
Sirnfet both got headshots, and we congratulated each other. Then the score
came up. 51-49 on a game that could only get 50 kills! We went back into
theater and found that we had fired at the EXACT same frame, which gave us
the extra win. This is an old game, so I don’t have a video of it.

This is the first non-Halo based Tales.. so I hope you guys accept it..
(knowing that you guys have gone diverse)
Start:
I got bored of playing Fallout 3, so I decided to go back to some ye good
olde Battlefield 2
So here is the deal, it was a standard Conquest gametype on the frag happy
Strike at Karkland.. I joined the MEC team, and choose the sniper class,
after that, I spawned.. but just like 2 seconds after I spawned, I got frag
killed.. yeah.. noting frag happy Strike at Karkland.. so then I choose the
spawn that is a bit farther from all the action and decided to go for some
sniping.. 1 kill, 2 kill, 3 kills.. so the kills kept on stacking till.. I
ran out of ammo.. So I asked the commander for a supply drop and a UAV scan
in the area.. which of course he accepted.. then.. it happened.. the fun
hack glitch of a watchmacallit.. it started raining (litterally) UAVs,
supply drops and tanks? -_-... Right.. So yes.. this may be the most boring
Tales yet.. or ever.. yawn sigh yawn snore

(Australian accent please) I knew i’d be back (okay if you didnt read that
in an Australian accent >=( )
Well here’s my story. I was playing Team SWAT on Halo 2, and i was bored
out of my mind, sitting in the pregame lobby. This guy named Peter walks
in, and goes like “The Crazy Knight? Hey! Weren’t we just playing fable?”
Im like… uhh no. i just registered this gamertag like 5 minutes go. So
hes getting mad at me, right? duh. The game starts up, he winds up on the
other team, and heres my score: 20 his score: -2. Then, I tried to jump up
to him in a game of Team Slayer, and i grenade jumped thanks to him, and
beat him down =) with a plasma pistol. I was laughing out loud, i add him,
and pretty much stalk him for the rest of the day until he gets off.
Well, as usual, keep on fraggin people who use Linux, Linux Penguins, and
logan has not seeked me out yet =)
Oh! and frag trucks carrying macs!!!
hi podtacular this is big gooba fish sending in my second submission for
the show.
i have a pretty funny tale from the foxhole for you.
me and my friend were playing a custom match on a foundry forge creation
which consisted of four bases.
i jumped on one of the ghosts and started boosting foreward to end up out
in the open.
then my friend randomly falls from the sky while im boosting and lands
right on the front of my speeding machine giving me a spectacular
splatter.
this happened because shortly after i got on the ghost my friend jumped
into a man cannon, being launched into the air only to land where i was
boosting with the ghost. unfortunately i have no footage to show you scince
this was done on my friends xbox and he cannot find any way to get on to
xbox live.

Hey hey hey! What’s up Podtacular!
It’s Lone Soldier332 returning after a long time of no computer! =( I
finally got it back from the repair shop, so now I’m back up to speed.
So, I’ve got a short Tale From El Foxhole for you.
While I was away from the internet, I played through the Halo 3 campaign
by myself on Heroic just for kicks. I turned on all the skulls except for
Fog and Iron. So, as you can guess, I got raped alot. But, on Sierra 117,
one very awesome thing happened at the end of the level. I had just opened
up the cell and saved Johnson -again-. Then, the two Phantoms showed up.
After about a half hour of hiding and spontaniously combusting, I finally
decided to take my Special Assault Rifle and the one Plasma Grenade I had
left, and charge the Brute Chieftain. He pummeled me several times, but I
finally decided to try something. I threw the Plasma Grenade at the
Chieftain. At that very moment, he decided to activate his invincibility
pickup. The grenade bounced off the Chieftain and stuck to my boot. I
sighed, ready to spontaiously combust again. But to my suprise, I didn’t.
My guess is that it was a glitch, but I was sent flying into the air,
directly into a Phantom. The impact broke the turret and sent the Grunt
operating it into the water. I was laughing and hiding as the Arbiter and
Johnson finished off the Covenant. Then, my enjoyment was cut short as
Kilo-2 3 blew up my Phantom and I was sent into the water below. I hadn’t
gotten a checkpoint, so I had to start over. “NOOO!” I screamed, as I
turned off my 360 and went to bed.

Just registered and thought I’d drop a submission. Well, first of all I
thought I’d make your life easier and use punctuation. I swear I hear you
walking off and swearing when some emails come through. However, I digress.
First of all, I once got an Overkill with one laser shot on Sandtrap.
Here’s a tip kiddies. Packing a warthog up to the brim, and then standing
on it will not give you super powers.
Another time I grabbed the Sniper Rifle and set up shop on top of the
ruined walkway on Last Resort. I got my first and only perfection with 34
kills and no deaths. Quite a feat. Sorry it’s not long, that’s all.
Keep blasting away newcomers and dominating at Halo!

I just wanted to share a tale from the foxhole (from before my account got
hacked. sad face ).
Two of my friends and I were playing social slayer one day. They were
guests on my account, and it was 3v3. It was team slayer of Valhalla, and
we were owning pretty badly. I was on the center hill, using my BR to put
some shots on an enemy that was at the turret field cave on the open ocean
side of the map. He ducked behind cover, I aimed up and chucked a plasma at
him. Apparently the grenade gods had other things in mind. As my plasma was
flying through the air, my friend in a banshee cuts right across my screen
and smacks into the plasma grenade. Bam. Betrayal. Excellent. Couldn’t have
gone better. My friend let out of cry of “What the heck just happened?” All
I could reply was, “Sorry, dude…” However unfortunate, we all thought it
was pretty hilarious.

friends on last resort i respawned on shotty side.
I went for sniper and this is the crazy part i grab sniper aim and Bam
overkill extermination one bullet 4 headshots.

It’s your old pal RicE sNak RozZ here for the 3rd time to tell you about my
awesome 1337 sniping skills. This first match was shotty snipers on
sandtrap and we where 2 off the win and I walked up to the middle and i
no-scoped 2 people with one bullet which earned me a double kill, rampage
and us the game. The next match was team snipers on narrows and I had just
started the match and randomly shot a bullet and somehow it rebounded twice
and kill one guy on the other team. I don’t have either as films seeing as
I had that stupid 100 custom content limit at the time but I have one
extremely similar that I will put in my file share soon.
well that’s it for now. I would like to give shouts to XLR8 the CoD World
at War team, The guys at the Godtacular bible study, Dustorm, Crypto,
Glewis and the guest host.
By the way Dustorm last week you were talking about the Red vs. Blue

Hey Podtacular DeathByTheMorning here and I have a Tale from the Foxhole
for you. First, I apologize to Crypto for my lack of punctuation in my last
submission. Sorry dude! Ok, secondly, just a FYI, Safari has a built in
spellcheck as well. Now, finally, I will tell my Tale from the Foxhole. It
was Team SWAT on SWAT Guardian. Right when the game started I ran to bottom
gold and got a Double Kill. Then I went up the gold lift and killed another
member of the red team for a Triple Kill. I turned around and killed 2 more
reds for a Killtacular extermination. The cool thing about this is that it
was 3v3. I continued to pwn for the rest of the game I had a rampage
perfection at the end of the game with a total of 23 kills. My team ended
up winning the game 50-26. Thats my Tale, shoutouts to GLewis because he is
my favorite, the OU football team (BOOMER!!!) and the OKC Thunder. Oh, and
CapnKrunk. Keep on fragging trucks and veto screaming noobs.
Hey guys, this is El En 5 with my Tale from the foxhole.
Normaly i dont play Halo 3 but since i just got a one month i just decided
to pop in the disc and rank up in TS. I got into a Team BR on valhala and i
decided not to veto it for some reason, and i got to say that i’m glad i
didnt veto. One of my team mates quit so it was a 3v4 situation. First
thing i did was pick up the snipe and i started to own. i ended up getting
about acouple of no-scopes and the whole team was doing so good that for a
point it was 35 to 0. We were all going for perfections and unfourtunatly
for the 2 people on my team, they didnt earn it. I was very close to dieing
at some points with people 2x scoping me. But i made it out with a
perfection, a 19 and 0 record. It was an awsome game for me and my team, we
won the game 50 to 4. The unfourtunate thing about the game was that i did
not rank up. =(
So thats my Tale from the foxhole and i hope to tlk to you guys again.

Hey Dusty, Crypto, Glewis, and Guest host Uzumaki here with a tale from the
WaW foxhole.
Ok, let’s start. My friend triggerhappy psycho had come over to spend the
night and he brought his Xbox with him, after hooking it up to my other TV
in my basement we sat down for some CoD:WaW, which I had just recently
acquired, after he had beaten the game and I completed the first level on
Veteran we decided to play some Nazi Zombies, managing to get his friend
Black spade into the lobby we started. At around the 5th or 6th round my
parents called me to make popcorn so leaving my video game life in the
hands of my friends (not a smart idea usually) I left my post at the front
door (or entrance of the “help room for those who play WaW) I went upstairs
to make popcorn, while I was gone Black spade threw a grenade in an attempt
to keep the zombies for devourering our brains, it exploded killing off
most of the zombies but blowing the legs off one of them, after killing
off the rest of Nazi’s they found that the round wouldn’t end until the
last zombie dies which was the legless zombie crawling around after them.
Deciding to wait for me to finish the popcorn they started to have some fun
with the legless zombie by standing in front of it and behind it (with
enough room so that it couldn’t kill them) and watched it spin in circles
trying to decide which one it wanted to kill first. After awhile they
started talking to it, Deciding to name it road kill, and enjoyed a good
2-3 minutes of shooting around it a saying “come here road kill”, “Good
road kill” and other random phrases, this continued for a while until
triggerhappypsycho accidentally missed and shot “road kill” in the face,
but was still laughing about it when I can back downstairs and he retold
this tale to me.
That’s my tale sorry it’s long but I thought it was funny.

Hey Podtac, I have a few tales to share with you.
My first one was in Living dead. I don’t remember which map it was, but I
do remember all the medals I got. I started out as a zombie, and headed
towards the humans. I wasn’t spotted, so I got a quick triple kill, and
managed to kill two others getting an Infection Spree.
For my second, I was using my friend’s account, as I was on his console at
the time. My friend didn’t have very many multiplayer achievements, but
soon, that would be taken care of. It was in Lone Wolves, with Swords on
Guardian, and I start killing people left and right. I had 6 kills, and ran
to top mid. I see two people in s sword clash, and run over to them,
assassinating one, and quickly taking out the other for a double kill. I
saw a guy running towards me, so I lunged at him, then follow up with RB(I
use Bumper Jumper) to get the Triple Kill, and Steppin’ Razor achievements.
I saw a guy behind me on my radar, so I turn around and melee him, catching
him off guard and get the Overkill and Killing Frenzy achievements too(I
had 6 kills before all this.)
For my third and final one, it was the first time Grifball was on. My team
ran towards the middle, and I stay back just a bit. My whole team gets
killed, so I run up and finish off the last two guys on the other team,
take the ball and run towards the goal. I ran right past the two people who
had just spawned, and at the same time as the bomb blew up, the other two
spawned, and I got an Overkill. That was my first Grifball game, and the
most fun time I had that day.
Those were my favorite stories from my Halo carrer, I hope you liked them
half as much as I did.
Shout outs to Unknown Tru7h, Vladimyrx, Shishkee, about 4 guys, Xxs
marlowexX, FRESNO STATE BD, and everyone at Bungie for making such an
incredible game.
Hey podtac I have a tale from the foxhole for you. I was playing social big
team slayer on sandtrap with my friends yitiek and Ainasok. I spawned at
blue base and McNabbed the chopper before anyone else could. I rushed
through the map twords the base with the tunnels splattering innocents on
my way. I boosted up onto to the base and charged to the ledge at the
end of the base. I used my boost once again as I soared from base to base
perfectly except I landed in the tunnel on the other side. I kept traveling
straight because that’s the only way I could go due to the tunnel being as
wide as my chopper. My reticle turned red as I sighted red team troops. As
I approached them I used the chopper’s boost once more to splatter them
all. The game lagged so much because of this that I never saw the medals at
the bottom left of my screen. When I reviewed the stats of the game I saw
that I had gotten both an overkill and a splatter spree. It is all in my
file share and my gamertag is KNIGHTRILLIAN. I would also like to know if
sending a friend request to Podtacular Rec is how you join the clan.
