Hey guys, love the idea of adding a question at the end of the podcast. I only played the first 10-15 missions and to me it was not anything special, I did not beat the campaign at the time and now that I am done the campaign, I want to go back and do the rest as I heard they get better.
Personally I would not pay for Spartan Ops missions since its more of a co-op thing and for me to enjoy Spartan Ops, I would need to play it with friends. That being said, my friends would not buy the Spartan Ops missions if it cost additional money, so I wouldn't get the most fun out of it. If they were to demand money for it, I would expect it to be like Walking Dead prices for chapters (I think its 400 or 800 MSP).
Hey Podtac, I like the idea of a question of the podcast since it give a general topic, and may get more posts for the show. On to the answer, I would pay 1600 MS points ($20) for sure, but if they were to make new play spaces from season 1 I might spend 2400 ($30) MS points. Truthfully $20 is most likely a good cost since it is equivalent to a third of the game. By the way, I have been listening to the podcast for a little over 200 episodes, and I wanted to know the legend behind Nay Nay. Well keep up the great job guys, and fraggin' those trucks.
Travis from Drunken Halo here and I wanted to say thanks for the mention on the show! I was very shocked and excited to hear the recognition. Keep up the good work. In regards to your question of "Would you pay for Spartan Ops?", my answer would be yes if reasonable. $10.00 or less and I would. Anyways to stay brief, Dust Storm I would love to play some Halo with you sometime. Gamertag is b00msticky. Thanks again from Drunken Halo!
Hey guys, so your question from last week was "Would I buy Spartan Ops Season 2 and how much would I pay for it?" After playing the finale it's a very "HOT" topic if you know what I mean. [Insert your snarky comeback here] ;)
Anyway, I'd buy season 2 for 1600 Microsoft points. It seems logical to see it being that much, and if they have people pay for it you get more map content. On the down side, not a lot of people can get 1600 MSP and that leads to a lower player audience. If it's free you get to enjoy the benefits of old (like Brent said) and it helps the replay-ability like the map packs do, only this goes on for months and keeps the story fresh. So those are my thoughts on this. Sorry if this submission is confusing, my words come out faster then my brain catch up with. See you later and keep on fraggin those Requiems.
Hey Podtacular, I hope you guys saw the Majestic Map Pack Vidoc and gameplay footage because these maps are AMAZING. I love small sized maps because then I can dominate with the shotgun and not have to worry about getting my head blown off by a troll sniper up in the trees somewhere. I can't wait to see Landfall in person, and I also want to find the mystical Halo 4 Hornet that was spotted in Landfall. Hope I didn't mess with the flow of the podcast. Keep on fragging the herbs on Harvest :)
Do you think that it's OK to have the Halo cannon be continued into something that you must have a gold account to see? I would buy a season 2 Spartan Ops, but I feel bad for those.
