I would like to see proning position
included into the game. Also, bigger multiplayer maps with up to 64 or 96
people able to play in one game. A max of 16 can get old really quickly. Bigger and more powerful weapons integrated into the Campaign and the
Multi-player game modes. I really didn’t like playing as the Arbitor and
it was hard to tell who was friend and foe. I probably killed the
friendly forces before I killed the enemy (unless I saw the green in
time). That’s all I can think of for now.
I think Halo 3 needs another weapon to deal with vehicles, mainly the tank.
Something with Armor puercing rounds, so that the rocket launcher isn’t the
only vehicle pwner.
This is going to be quick and sweet. I have a feeling that Halo 3 will have
more options for making Machinimas. Like how Bungie made it possible to
lower your weapon in Halo 2. We could see options to remove the HUD, or
run around with out weapons with out using the tricks used now. Or maybe
there will be a whole mode set aside for movie making. It would be very
close to a debug mode that we could use and have endless options for
movies making.
Its just an idea that I think would be cool to see happen.

Hey is Hurricane again, I just remembered another thing that i really want
to see in Halo 3, and that is the ability to hold your grenades before you
through them like you can in Call of Duty 2. If you don’t know what
I’m talking about, I mean that you should be able to hold the grenade
button, the L trigger, until you want to though the nade. I think that is
will help on the aiming of the nades and will help on those long range
stickies. Thanks again guys!
i think in halo 3 we need a gun that can shoot out mines for like objective
games
ok i think this would be an awsome feture in Halo 3 sniper stats. evrey
kill you make with a sniper you could look up on bungie and it would tell
you the distance the shot was. or they could bring back the little
statistic thing like in Halo CE
why has nobody thought of burrowing vehicles like those things
in ninja turtles, or spider like bots that climb the walls of
structures, i realize that these are similar to mechs, but if there’s
not like 6 of them at once, they’d be great, it would make sense to have
them take 2 rockets to be destroyed.
i think it’d be cool if in halo 3 you could snipe someone out of a tank
like in halo 1, but the tank guy only takes damage if you snipe him right
in the cockpit. Because if someone is in a tank and you don’t have any
rockets or another tank then he’s almost unstopable.
When you teebag someone the deep mans voice should say “teebag.”
That would be really funny.
There should also be laser reactive bombs so when you go passed the line
it creates it blows up.
Like in James Bond nightfire.
in halo 3 there should be:
when you go over a jump in a wathog your guy stands up
a teleporting wepim that can teleport you anywhere on the map
I was just listening to the e3 Special that you guys did, and for a brief
moment you were talking about the fact that “Halo 3” is the last part of
this trilogy. I’m thinking that perhaps instead of creating other stories
in the Halo universe, Bungie may instead create just a series of
multiplayer games (kind of like the Unreal Tournament games…. just Halo
Multiplayer).
I wanted to mention one thing about Thermopylae (thur – mop – oh – lee). Someone wrote in and said that “Thermopylae” is the title of one of the sound tracks in Halo 3. You guys kinda brushed past it in Episode 66, but this is important. In the actual battle 300 Spartans held off an army of 250,000 Persians. Every Spartan died because they were betrayed, but they managed to hold the Persians off long enough for the Greek Army to retreat to safety. This is important because I think we are going to see a battle in H3 that i ncludes the rest of the Spartans. If you remember they didn’t all die in the book story lines. Something like 20 or so Spartans survive back on Reach (I think). Anyway, keep on trucking frags.
Stuff the bomb or flag could say, this would be a fun addition to Halo 3

Just like to add some stuff to what others have put in on Halo 3 Multiplayer :
weapons :
1. take off the non-scoped crosshair for snipers. i mean really, if you can go around sniping people without even using the scope its nonsense. and also make the sniper very inaccurate while non-scoped. its ridiculous these kids sniping people from across the map with no scope then screaming about it.
2. there needs to be some sort of equivalent of the shotgun in the covenant. also, there needs to be a humanized brute shot. maybe a grenade launcher instead of rocket launcher. that or make the brute shot a brute launcher.
3. maps that are big in multiplayer need to be CUT DOWN. if there are going to be maps where people can hide the whole game very very easily like Waterworks or Containment, there is no use having them. Maps like Coagulation should be the “big” maps. Also, bring Coagulation into the circuit in more gametypes. It would be a good choice for Team Snipers, or whatever people like most.
4. there needs to be more direct game choosing. for example, have optimatch setup the same, but when u hit Team Slayer it goes into Team Snipers, Team SWAT, Team Assault, and Team CTF. Then those branch off into different types like 1 Flag CTF Fast, 5 Flag CTF, CTF Classic, Single Bomb, Multi-Bomb.
My top 3 wold be
1. Make it for xbox and xbox 360 (like ghost recon)
2. Have a level with 2 different parts(I.G. a map like coagulation with a
covenant cruiser hovering over it with a grav lift that goes into it)
3. A survival mode for xbox live in which humans have 1 life and try to
survive a computer controlled covenant/flood on-slot
Just so you know bungie said that the trailer was about one/third through the game.
i was watching attack of the show yesterday when they said that Best Buy
expected Halo 3 to be released in Nov. 2006!!!!

okay..halo 3 is gunna turn into ratchet and clank. There will be cool
shooty guns, but also guns that will turn the MC into a Cow. Just think,
15 Cows on ” Lockout” with one wrangerler. Also..theyre will be
hummer…..with a big gun called the Hummer-nator
i have some cool ideas that i think would be cool in Halo 3. stupid ideas
but to me they would be cool.
a plasma nade launching warthog. the turret shoots hundreds of stickies a
minute. this would be funny as in multiplayer you wouldnt be able to walk
5 feet without getting stuck by a minimum of 50 stickies.
marines that are actually smart. in Halo they were dumbasses who couldnt
even shoot a pistol. it was doing evryone a good by killing them yourself
and saving the pain and trouble. In Halo 2 they got a little smarter and
reacted better to situations. they could eve drive the warthog-albiet
slowly so anything could hit yu- but they could still drive it. they could
also shoot a sniper rifle a billion times in a minute. this was extreamly
not so helpful because out of that billion only 1 shot hit someone and it
was probably you. but it was cool nonetheless to hear multiple sniper
shots within micro-sseconds of each other. In halo 3 they should be SMART.
know when to use the pistol, the SMG, and the BR. they should be able to
drive as you would, so there is no more slow moving warthog, everytime a
marine was driving it would go soo fast youd probably throw up looking at
it. having smart marines is helpful and the marines should be improved on
in Halo 3.
Indestructible viechles-do i really need to say more? this was fun for
stunt gametypes and what not and u had to think as the other team could
horde your veichles and you wouldnt get them back unless you killed the
other person and drove it back.
Infinate NADES- have a limitless supply of nades was fun, me and my
friends would even play NADE ONLY gametypes. its just fun to have a
unlimited amount to stickies…it just is….
Co-Op over XBL- i dont know why but i guess it would be cool to play with
someone over XBL, this could improve your abilities and you could learn
from the other person if they were better then you. and vice-versa a noob
could learn from you so that he wouldnt be such a noob.
No Halo 1 pistol- why? it wouldnt be any better. if Halo 3 still has the
no health thing going then the shields would be stronger like it was in
Halo 2. so the pistol wouldnt make any differance since the shields would
be stronger and it would take more shots to take teh shields down. if
anything a no-scope pistol. the scope made it so any noob could use it. it
requird no skill as you could zoom in at a farily safe range and take
someone out in 3-4 shots. having no scope makes it more challenging and
more fun as when you do get a headshot you did it with skill and not with
the aid of a scope.
bossfights- have boss fights but not making them obvious. in Halo 2 at the
end you knew it was you vs. tarturas. it should be were there is the ONE
guy you have to kill, but there are many other enemies and it doesnt seem
like a boss-fight, it would seem like avy other battle.
Halo 3 NEEDS the folowing things:
I think that halo 3 should have the ability to punch, kick, and grab
enemies like grunts you could sneak up behind them grab their little heads
and punt them into a croud of jackals,new minigame called watch what they
do.
Hey guys, I’ve been listening to Podtacular for a few weeks now and I’ve
been hearing loads of tips and strategies that are for n00bs!
My Halo 3 idea is this. If the Rocket Launcher in Halo 3 will still have
the target-tracking ability maybe they could add a feature when you are in
a land vehicle (Such as a Warthog or Ghost) when a Rocket Launcher locks on
to you, there will be some kind of indication of it. Such as a beep noise
of some sort. Then if someone locks on to you, you have time to GET TEH
#%^#( OUT! This may render the Rocket Launcher almost useless on land
vehicles so maybe they can make the rockets travel faster.

here are some things i’d like to see in halo 3. like foo mo, i would like
it to be halo 3, not halo 2 and one combined. there are some elements that
i would like to express though.
i know they might’ve talked about it already, but there needs to be the
human equivalent of the energy sword. i’m thinking either a large utility
knife or a shortsword type of thing.
id like to see a huge variety of customizational character emblems and
colors. many more pictures to choose from so you wont see so many
duplicate explicit pictures. you guys know what im talking about.
in halo 3 campaign, there should be a live feature. bring up to 7 (not
including you) spartans into the fight to save the world. i think it would
be interesting and if you were to connect live it would become
significantly more difficult.
and finally, not to make my post like uber long and u guys skip over half
of it…take – the – non – scoped – reticule – off – the – snipers.
please. it’s way too annoying when people can run around noscoping people
and ranting about it because they think they own. i can do it, but its not
something i go out to do, like the “No Scope Legends”. also, maybe make the
sniper not fire unless zoomed? holding a sniper rifle at shooting position
while running shouldnt be able to happen, because of kick. at least make
you run really slow if you were to want to run with the ability to
noscope.
I think halo 3 should have like a machine gun chain that can either be a
plasma bullet chain or regular bullet chains or what ever else. and ou can
just put in the turret and it will shoot that kind of bullet.
i think that halo 3 should have a rocket launcher that lets you guide
rockets and the should also have a heat tracker rocket and just the
regular rockets they have now.
i think halo 3 should allow you to have mini sword battles like starwars.
so like if two people hit at the same time you have to repedetly tap a and
if you win you kill them or hurt them.
For, Halo 3 I think it would be great that you caould set different
sensitivities for diffrent weapons
When Halo 2 came out, we were given new weapons, and were forced to learn
how to use them effectively whether we liked it or not. Here are some of
my ideas for new weapons in Halo 3:

in halo3 they should go back to the old melee system in Halo1. For example
in Halo1, when you had the sniper, the chief would slam the entire gun
down on the enemy(not to mention killing your allies with one smack) also
the chief would hit with the needle side of the needler and that would
probably produce more damage.
I would like to see halo 3. Not halo+halo2+ghost recon+splinter cell. I
want bungie to think up stuff that no one has thought of Ex New weapons
cool new actions(like hijacking) and sweet multiplayer maps and stuff.
ive justed noticed that the rifle has a flashlight below the barrel,maybe
this will replace the light on the helmet.
if you read OXM your probally very happy,oxm had a 11page interview with
bungie about the trailer and they spilled some info.
Halo 3 should have guns with the reticule not in the middle of the screen.
I mean, if these weapons have been through a war, they won’t all shoot
perfectly straight. So even if it was just once in the game, it’d be cool
to shoot a gun and see it actually go a little to the left or right of an
alien. then you hear cortana say something about adjustments and your
reticule moves an inch or so over on the screen.

in halo 3 you should be able to ride on a pogo stick. the pogo stick would
have a machine gun mounted on the front to gun down all the noobs. the
pogo stic should be just as fast as the ghost.
it could also double as a helicpoter. the blades would come from the
bottom & it could fly like a banshee. And when someone tries to hi-jack
your pogo stick you could hit the self-destruct button & BOOM!!!
but seroisly Bungie should take off suiced point loss. This would stop
people from deleveling.
This weapon should have a primary fire and a secondary fire. The primary
fire is single shot mid-range (like BR except single shot); and the
secondary fire should be a grenade luancher, slightly stronger than the
brute shot. So if you only see one guy then you can take him out with
priamry fire, but for multiple enemies the secondary fire would work like
charm.
Halo 3 needs…
For Halo 3, I think it would be pretty sweet if the guys at bungie added a
little more complexity to the Bomb arming sequence in Assault Games. For
example, i think that the arming sequence should have the player press a
random button combonation in a series of A,B,X,and Y Button combos. 10 is
ideal. Maybe to add a little more histeria to the mix, have the player
push the buttons in a certain amount of time or hh or she has do start it
over until it is armed.
Also, for sniping, i would like to see the glass off of the visor to have
a shatter/sprinlkle like confetti/particle effect when hit directly in the
face. The would make headshot a whole lot sweeter :)
we need a gun in halo 3 that you can shoot dead grunts heads at the
covanant,thr other grunts would get scared,or a catapult that launches
cows across the map
Hey Podtacular! It’s o0 DaRkChAoS 0o and I have some ideas for Halo 3. I
agree with your Bic ball point pen gun idea! I have some other writing
utencel weapon ideas! The grunts could have crayon guns, the elites could
have magic marker guns…..No just kidding! My real idea is that when
creating custom games for multi-player in Halo 3 you should have more
options such as to put more than the default number of vehicals on the map
so if your playing a game like Hog Wars you can have more than four
Warthogs on the map, also it would be cool to be able to change spawn
points of weapons or change where you want the flags to be in a CTF match.
I got this idea from the map creator in FarCry and thought it would be a
cool feature to have in H3.
While most things in Halo 2 were so well done they shouldn’t altered too
much, one of the things I’d like to see in Halo 3’s Multiplayer is dynamic
armor damage. When a player gets shot, bullet holes and other damage signs
should appear on his armor for other players to see, and the more damage
sustained without dying, the more messed up the armor should become.
Weapons should also appear on a player, so an enemy can see the weapons a
player has in reserve. Love the podcast, and keep up the good work!
One thing I would like to see in the Halo 3 campaign is more use of the
flash light. I know its not the most original Idea, but with the amazing
things they can do with the 360, it could make for some killer tension and
interesting fights! I would also like to see a mode for 2 or more people to
play a campaign mission but one person plays as MC and anyone else playing
takes the part of the covenant. Got this idea from Perfect Dark for the
N64, and I at least thought that was one of the coolest ideas in that
game! You guys rock. Keep up the good work!
I, like mostly everybody in the world, hope in Halo 3 they introduce a bot
system similar to the one in Counter-Strike or Metroid: Hunters. I also
want there to be proximity mines, and maybe a mine (like in one of the
James Bond games) that shoots a laser infinitely across the map until it
hits a wall. When that laser is crossed by a player, the mine blows up.

I think that u should be able to throw your weapons at people if there out
of ammo. Also, you should be able to carry around turrets like johnson
does on the cario station level in halo 2 campaign.Another little thing is
that you should be able to pick up health packs from their bodies if the
have the same health system that they had for halo 1. And finally, we
should be able to dual weild more weapons, like the BxR, energy sword,
brute shot, setinal beam, and maybe shotguns, that would be awsome.
the best weapon for halo would be a gattling gun that shoots explosive
multicolored pens. or you could have a gun that would shoot rockets that when they explode
the scortch marks on the wall say VGA suckz.
i play some games other than Halo occasionally, and i will tell you about
them:
UT 2004-Unreal Tournament. This game is completly insane and addicting. it
is soo much fun. its PC only but its worth getting. there are soo many
gametypes like CTF, assualt, onslaught, and many others. its seems
slightly realistic with some weapons you use like the rocket launcher and
machine gun, but a lightning gun? yes there is a gunn which shoots
lightning at your opponents. so the only thing more embarresing then
getting a head shot is gettin hit by a lighting shot in the head, watching
your head fall off, and your surge with electricity. this game is highly
fun and i recommend any person to try it.
Unreal Championchip 2- as you can guess it is in the UT line-up of games.
this is basically like UT 2004 but it is way more fast paced. You have a
choice of using you almighty guns like, a shock-rifle, bio-rifle,
rocket-launcher, disk launcher, pistols, sniper rifle, and a mini-gun to
slay your opponents. you can also go 3rd person and play. it may seem
weird to play a FPS-type game in 3rd person but it is essential to
mastering the speed of the game. your 2nd type of weapons if your melee
weapons, a.k.a. a sword or staff. you can hold the trigger to do random
slice moves to injure your opponents or use ‘B’- Xbox controls- and do a
power move. if you hit the opponent enough they freeze for a bit,
aloowwing you do to your special move and grumsomely kill the other
person. in the air witht he sword you can hold the R button and let go and
go flying acorss the map. there is a main campaign which focuses on one
character, then like traditionl UT style there are 16 other characters to
go through the tournament with, and then you got your challenge modes
which are impossible to beat. and then you got multiplayer modes and you
can play over XBL. this game is highly fun and i recommend you go try it
Guild Wars review
This game has the best graphics out of every game ive ever seen. Its the
MMORPG Guild wars by Korean software company NCsoft. Unlike games such as
Runescape or WoW GW features solo world travel so you only see other
people playing when your in a city, town, or outpost. You can also create
partys which vary in size depending on where you are in the GW universe,
these 2 sources are the only way you can see people. Also the highest lvl
in GW is lvl 20 aposed to WoWs lvl 60, ive heard its twice as hard to lvl
up in GW. Also like Halo 2 has its clans, Guild wars has Guilds(obviously)
guild members get a customizable cape that their character wears to show
off their guilds colors. Also if your guild has enough money they can
purchase a Guild Hall which is a private area of the GW world that only
your guild members can visit, theirs about 7-8 halls to choose from all
different. Also the character system includes classes such as Ranger,
warrior, mesmer, necromancer, monk, and elementalist. Also characters may
have a permenant 2nd class so for example my character shows as a E/R17
which means im a Elementalist as my primary clann and a Ranger as my
secondary and im also a lvl 17. For more questions feel free to ask.
hey guys. The game or games that I enjoyed a long time ago were Sonic 1, 2,
and 3. It was made for the Sega Genesis which I still have. The game was
tons of fun to play. I used ot beat all the games when I was just 6. The
new Sonic games are good, but not as great as the retro sonic games. I
still remember that annoying noise sonic made when he jumped.
Hey podtacular its Megaman Zero 3 well when I am not playing halo I am
playing 1 of 2 games. My first choice besides halo is perfect dark zero.
Everyone has given this game bad reviews on its online features. I really
enjoy playing on some of the new maps that they released not to long ago.
The other game that you can find me on is UNO. This is a game that
everyone can enjoy. My family and I play this when we need family
bonding….I always win. I have played this with some podtacular people
such as samanator… “Uno”(only good if samanator says it) and renagad3 n,
and of course dialpex. Uno is one of the best games that the xbox360 arcade
has to offer.

Yo podtacular peeps! You guys are crack-a-lackin/wicked geeks etc. Just
writing in to tell you about metroid prime hunters, cause it’s the best
alternitive to halo to those who are Xbox-less. But it’s so neglected! You
should start a Metroid clan or something. It could be called.. Podtacular
Pro Metroid! Yeah, ok, too far, Anyway, it’s a great show, keep it up
dudes, and stay PIMPTASTIC!
When I need a break from all the 5 year olds, and spawn campers in Halo 2, I like to playt a good ol’ fashioned game of Battlefield 2. Now, I’m not talking the lesser console versions, I’m talking about the awsome PC version. Between all the tanks, flag capturing, and different player classes, it’s an awsome game. If you manage to get passed all the patching, and tech problems, you’ll love it. Too bad you don’t get Master Chief’s shield…
Ah, KOTOR 1 & 2, some awsome games. Who hasn’t dreamed of fighting Jedi style in a galaxy far, far away, only to have their dreams crushed by reality. Well, since you can’t actually shock your worst enemies with force lightnining, the KOTOR games are the closest you’ll get. Fetureing well done storylines, as well as all the force powers you could dream of, it’s an action RPG fans dream. As an added bonus, there’s even an moral system, allowing you to align your Jedi with the light or dark side of the force.
Psyconauts. Good game that nobody ever played. You play as Raz, a psychicly gifted circus performer run away from home. He runs away to a secret camp for kids with psychic powers. Along the way, he meets a colorful bunch of characters, and becomes involved in a conspiracy to stea l all the campers brains. Written by famed funny guy Tim Schafer, you’ll love this game. And besides, who hasn’t wanted to set things on fire with their mind, or have telekinessis? PLEASE check this terribly underated game out!
