I am a firm believer that the only way to end this type of story is for the
master chief to die saving the Human Race. I don’t know exactly how this
may happen but I do know that at some point the elites will team up with
the Humans as well as the Grunts and Hunters and fight against the
Prophets, Brutes, Drones, and Jackals. I think it is pretty obvious to
conclude that we either descended from the Forerunners or somehow we ARE
them but oblivious to it. I am not sure whether there will actually be
any actual Foreunner characters but I hope there is. Once again I do
think the Master Chief will become a martyr dying for what he believes in
and what he has been “programmed” to do since the age of 6.
I enjoyed the little sample of Halo 3 footage footage they showed but I was
a little dissappointed that most of the video comprised Halo 2 facts and
footage. I like the idea of the Brute Pack (sp?) where the lead Brute is
actually the commander and tells the others what to do.
I’m just saying for people who don’t know about roman history or take latin
that ‘et tu brute’ is also the last thing people think that julius ceasar
said when he was killed. he said ‘et tu brutus’ which meant “you to
brutus” because brutus was his best friend but helped kill him. I don’t
know if somehow this can relate to halo 3 and is why they picked ‘et tu
brute’ but i liked the video anyway and you could tell that halo 3 will be
more bloody since they had the brute pull off the marines arms on the
computer.
I think halo 3 will end with the ark being activated, and earth being blown
apart. Then, it will use the xbox live vision camera to take a picture of
your face of that scene, then post it on the screen and have words under
it that said, this is what you get for playing so many hours straight, and
this is what you get.

What i want in Halo 3 is for the grenades to have an aiming view (as in
GoW)

I think that the ex-covenant will team up with the Humans to defeat the
new covenant. Also i think that Master Cheif will died, but he isnt gonna
die from emeny-fire. I think he will die either a) sacrificing his body to
the flood so he can somehow save mankind. or b)he will need to release a
supercharge (like from his sheild in halo CE) to destroy the heart of the
flood and/or covenant and the explosion is to much for him to handle.

After defeating the brutes, Earth will somehow become another shield world
and MC will meet up with all his old Spartan buddies. With the help of Dr.
Halsey they will find there way out, with there tons of furtile regular
soldier friends, and begin repopulating the world with Humans. 4000 years
later though, the Covenant will somehow come again and leave us on a
cliffhanger. Halo 4…Thousand Years Later will be the next book or game.
first of all the master chief is going to die, i know i dont like it either
but i think he might. the forrunners are going to come in and wipe out all
the brutes when they have overrun everything and about to activate the
halo’s, the MC is going to die before the forrunners come in and then
after that everyone is going to be happy and there is going to be peace.
I think that there will be a cliffhanger, (very
frustrating) and after a month or so Bungie will
release the remaining levels. The ending will either
be good or bad. It could end with the death of Master
Cheif and the destruction of earth and other things.
But the good ending could be the flourishing of humans
and the destruction of the covenant, or the covenant
changes to good, and see and understand their
wrongdoings, and feel emotion and love.
I think that since it is the end of the Halo trilogy that the Master Chief
will die somehow. He might get in an epic battle between the Prophet of
Truth or between Gravemind. But he could end up kicking both of their
sorry alien butts and saving the Earth. Who knows?????
Hey this is Ugly Mutt, i’m new to the podtacular website but I have been
listening for a while, anyway i think the Master Chief might have to take
down the other Prophet, you nearly kill him when the Arbiter walks into
save the day, the Arbiter gets killed but saves the Master Chief, the
Prophet then activates a ‘doomsday device’ (maybe all the Halos) Master
Chief kills the prophet and disables the ‘doomsday device’ killing himself
in the process.

i think that because MC is fighting on the Ark with the Covenant, for some
strange reason, he doesn’t prevent the Covenant from firing the Halo’s. But because he’s in the Ark, he doesn’t get vaporized, and then throws
himself to the Floode, or the Hunter’s, who would have survived
anyway…sad, but makes sense
unless the Arbiter and friends somehow get off of Delta Halo and come to
save MC’s rear in the nick of time…in which case…MC strangles Arbiter
for being Covenant; Johnson shoots MC’s head for strangling his best bud,
and Miranda goes to talk to Gravemind
still sad, still makes sence…
I think that the Master Chief should die by saving the human race and
the covenant. But the Master Chief should die with a bright light behind
him, and have his helmet be broken off. Because of the light behind the
Master Chief his face would be hidden. Besides if he didn’t die what would
he do after the war. Work at McDonalds?
There is a complex history behind the beginning of the covenant. As you may
already know the elites and prophets were at war before the discovery of
forerunner artifacts. I believe the prophets plan to end that brutal war
because they have been holding the grudge. They have been the ones to
understand the forerunner artifacts since they formed the Covenant Writ of
Union.
“Thou (Elites), in faith, will keep us (Prophets). While we find the
path.”
The fact that the elites are being scorned by the prophets resulting in
the current covenant civil war is my most important fact.
Also the civil war at the moment is only NEW to the covenant because the
elites have rebelled with some other races but if you listen when the
fallen commander becomes the Arbiter there have been previous rebellion by
the grunts.

I’ve heard many people say they think that the Master Chief should die at
the end. I think it would definitely be in keeping with the SPARTAN’s
history: valuing the lives of the human race over their own. However, I
don’t think it would be in keeping with John’s personal history as one of
the “luckiest” men in the universe. Dr. Halsey said herself when she
observed John as a child, he’s either extremely gifted or lucky. According to her, it didn’t matter, “either way he’s in.” Cortana chose
John knowing he wasn’t the fastest, sharpest shooter or the strongest; but
because he was the best leader. He’s the best at improvising and
innovating in tactical situations. And John hates to lose. It’s not
really highlighted in the games too much, but it is a major theme in the
first three books: John ALWAYS wins. The one time he “lost,” was his very
first training exercise and it was because his team didn’t win together. He actually came in first, ahead of everyone else, but his two teammates
came in last. From then on however, John (and his team) always won. On
the other hand, if it really is his last fight, John might very well
sacrifice his life, if that’s what it takes to win.
Bungie could definitely complete the story very well either way, but I
think we all hope that he doesn’t.
I believe it’s important for him to live, to validate for once the saying;
“SPARTANs never die.”
I think that the end of Halo 3 should be that MC gets on the edge of death. His shields would be all the way down, and then… BAM!!!!!!
KILLAMANJARO!! Then all the pesky grunts would run away crying to their
mommies. MC would proceed to talk some major smack by calling all the
elites noobs and humping their corpses. Thanks Guys and keep on fraggin’

OK here’s my little opinions on Halo 3. Firstly, I think Halo 3 will end
with the Master Chief and the Arbiter finding out whatever or wherever
this Ark thing is and disabling it, after murdering the Gravemind and
defeating the (evil) Forerunner forces of course.
Secondly, I probably watched the “Et Tu Brute” ViDoc about 15 times and I
think that they are in the process of making the Brutes a thousand times
more bearable than in Halo 2. But, I am more interested in the new enemies
that they haven’t shown (and probably never will show).
Finally, I am frickin’ ecstatic about the beta but they way that Microsoft
is handling it is just getting ridiculous. I don’t really think that a beta
should be the prize in a competition or sweepstakes, regardless of how many
people would kill to get to play Halo 3 (including me). I think this
because the beta isn’t going to be completely finished and final, and it’s
most likely only going to last a month. P.S. Please read this! Please?
I think that Halo 3 is going to end with us thinking that Master Chief is
dead. Then everyones favorite hero will make a triumphant return
ultimately saving the human race(temporarily).
All the Convenant, Forunners, Flood, and Brutes will be on Omyx I think and
the U.N.S.C will detonate it because the fleet will nuke it their will be a
timed mission at the end to get to a pelican beacause the mongoose was
built for speed.
ok I have an interesting theory of how Halo 3 will end, but to ecplain that
I must explain some minor details of how I think the rest of Halo 3 will
play out. For, example, I believe that there is a possibility that John
will be reunited with Blue Team, upon which they will learn something
about the ark and realize they must stop the covenant from getting to it
or something like that. As for the ending, I think it could be something
simmilar to the end of Halo: Ghosts of Onyx; Blue Team fight hard and
finally get to a point where they can destroy the ark, only to be
confronted by thousands upon thousands of Covenant itching to destroy
them. John sees a narrow window of escape, forces Blue Team to take it,
while he stays behind and destroys the ark which results in the
destruction or disarming of the Halo rings along with the massive Covenant
force. Unfortunately, this will result in the Chief’s death =’[. BUT I do
believe there will be another series of Halo games that take place before
the Covenant war.

I know what the x button will be used for. I had this idea while I was
listening to you whine about the man cannon in episode 94(JOKES), When KP
said something about being able to launch other objects from the cannon.
Then it hit me in the head or they elbow- im not sure yet it was a long
night. The x button will be used for picking up objects in the game. This
will allow you to launch objects from the cannon by loading them, it will
also allow you to make bunkers by stacking crates, and pick up possibe
weapons to throw at people.
What do you guys think?

Well my opinion of the ending to Halo 3 has to be another cliff hanger, or
the ending. Why you might ask? Because…Yes…Because bungie make their
money through people buying Halo series, and when the Halo Series ends
that means new games will take over the XBox Economy, thus resulting in
Halo losing its top ranked position on XBox, so many of you have
experienced this when it came to Halo 2, later on in 2006 early 2007 is
that the 360 popular game “Gears of War”, yet gears of crap if you asked
me completely made halo 2 look like Runescape and World of Warcraft. Anyways, now that I have my serios theory down on weather halo 3 shall be
the last. Let me give you my personal insight or opinion on what might
happen.
Cliff Hanger:
If it is a clif hanger then Halo 3 with have to be like the ending of Halo
2, an ending that will quote “Make Halo players throw their controlers at
their tv”. It might end up being somthing like the convenent have just
activated Halo yet their is still a way to stop it! So Halo 4 maybe,
possible might be the ACTUAL final fight where master cheif maybe denotes
all the Halo rings with a super hypersonic spacebomber. (Starwars
anyone).
Final Fight:
Yes yes, the final fight. One that is very hard for one to give a opinion
on. I would say that Master Cheif may show his face, and he MAY actually
die when detonating the final way to set off Halo. Yet that may be all to
drastic…It could possible end with Master Cheif after setting of Halo
wich would be like middle capaign has to finish the war itself vs the
covenant, because as most may predict and know that if you damn holy relic
is blow on, you are gonna avenge it! So another ending is that chief will
be put back to sleep in the cryo tube or what ever the hell it is. Another
possibility is that Spartan 117 will meat another group of Spartans.
This is how Halo 3 will end:
Master Cheif, the Arbiter, and the rest of the Human/Elite survivors fight
their way to the Ark. The Survivors go into the Ark while the MC and the
Arbiter stay to hold the door. The 2 of them fight the Flood for a while
then the door opens behind them and Sargent Johnson yell “you tow get your
asses in here!”. The MC and Arbiter dive through the closing doors. Just
after the door closes there is a defining roar, a blinding flash, then
silence. The MC opens the door to find that all of the Flood have been
turned into butterflys and flowers! The game ends with the Master Cheif
and the Arbiter holding hands and skipping of into the multi colored
sunset: Best Friends forever.
About the Halo 3 beta First when deos that come out if you know and second, I belive it just might be alittle disopointing if it comes out like 6 months from when halo 3 will comes out. I think that halo 3 will probably end in a cliff hanger, the cliff hanger
keeps people thinking and opens up opportunities for other HALO
merchandise.
In Halo 3, you will start off in space of course, then eventually, I
think, you would go back to Earth and try to finish the fight.
Basically, in the end, the Masterchief will have to race against time and
try to stop the Arc from activating all of the Halo rings. There will be
hordes of Covenant (Brutes and Jackles, Elites left) and possibly the
Flood if they some how make it to Earth during the game. During the run to
get to the control panel to stop the Arc from working, you meet with the
Arbiter and Elite’s that are also trying to stop the ring worlds from
activating. Masterchief and the Elites would run underground through paths
that were built by the Forerunners.
There would be a little cut scene with short introductions and then the
Elites would have to protect you by killing the Brutes, Jackles and Flood
while you take a last run along a long narrow path into the center of the
Arc underground and you activate the control panel and tell the Arc to
self-destruct.
ALMOST DONE, READ A COUPLE MORE LINES!!!
So in the end, you and the Elites try to get out of the Arc’s blast radius
on time, when you think you got far enough, there would be a cut scene
again
There would be an explosion that kills all of the Brutes and Jackles,
leaving a few stragglers (1 or 2) and the cruisers explode as well from an
Elite space force from above. So no enemies live. The Masterchief would try
to block the heat waves, and you watch some Elites die, then a large piece
of the Arc comes flying at Masterchief, then the scene shows the
Masterchief trying to get out of the way, and when you dont know if its
going to hit or not, the screen goes black, and there you have it, the end
of the game…
Watching the new brute video I saw what looked like some halo 3 multiplayer
going on in the background. One screen had the new assult rifle and the
other had the rocket laucher. If the rocket launcher is still in the game,
with the addition of the new spartan laser, vehichles are going to be
screwed (especially hogs), so I was thinking of ways to even it out. At
first I thought that Bungie might take away the lock on capabilities, but
then I had a better idea. First off you should receice some kind of
warning it you are being locked on to, but the main thing would be that
the rockets should be destructable. What if the turret on the hog could
blow up a rocket in mid air, or a SMG spray could take it out. I think it
would be cool. Keep it up.
