The latest Halo community update gives us exciting news that Halo 3: ODST, Remnant and the next content update are right around the corner, sneaking in at the very end of the month. While everything undergoes final certification tests, Bravo gives us a taste of what we’ll see with the update. In addition to the regular fixes and features for ranking, parties/roster, UI, etc., the team has been working on a new Find Player feature that allows you to look up any player to view their file share. Currently, the player has to be either online in your friends/following list or available in the campaign leaderboards to access their fileshare. Here’s the new shiny method:

In the last community update, Bravo dove heavily into playlist updates including Team Doubles becoming a permanent playlist, reordering of voting options in many playlists and ranks being added to Halo: CE, Halo 2 Classic, Halo 3, Halo 4, Team Hardcore, and Team Doubles playlists. On the HCS front, Evil Geniuses continue their stream of wins taking Online Cup #3 this past weekend. Based on feedback from pros, a new variant of Shrine will be used starting with ESL Online Cup #5. Finally, we were dumped with the newest set of achievements hitting with ODST adding 1000 gamerscore. Many of the achievements you’ll recognize from the original game with a few new ones and one Remnant achievement thrown in. Here’s a full list of the achievements.
